Moscow, November 11 (Xinhua) — Three people were injured and more than 140 vehicles were damaged on Tuesday when part of the Snezhkom ski resort collapsed in the city of Krasnogorsk in Russia's Moscow region.

BEIJING, Nov. 11 (Xinhua) — China's Ministry of Commerce said Tuesday it has noted a U.S. announcement that it will suspend for one year, effective Nov. 10, a rule that extends export restrictions to any company that is 50 percent or more owned by parties on U.S. sanctions lists.

St. Petersburg, November 11 /Xinhua/ — The Russian experimental PD-8 aircraft engine has logged over 4,000 hours of bench and flight testing, the press service of the Rostec state corporation reported on Tuesday.

The PD-8 bypass turbofan engine was developed at the Rybinsk-based UEC-Saturn plant. Work on the project began in 2019, and aircraft certification testing began in March 2025. Flight tests of the engine are currently underway on the Il-76LL flying testbed and two Superjet 100 aircraft.

According to Alexander Grachev, CEO of the United Engine Corporation, a Rostec subsidiary, the PD-8 has demonstrated reliable operation in all modes. One of the most important tests will be flights in natural icing conditions, planned for Arkhangelsk.
