BEIJING, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) — The number of trains operating on China-Europe and China-Central Asia routes from the China-SCO Regional Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Zone in Qingdao, east China's Shandong Province, increased by 13.8 percent year-on-year to 1,042 in January-October 2025, exceeding the combined volume of the previous year, setting a new record.

TEHRAN, November 11 (Xinhua) — Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said on Tuesday that its intelligence forces had identified and dismantled an "anti-security" network allegedly run by the US and Israeli intelligence agencies.

A statement published on the IRGC's official news portal, Sepah News, noted that the network, consisting of "deceived individuals and traitors to their country," was created by Israel after the 12-day conflict with Iran in mid-June with the aim of undermining the Islamic Republic's national security between November 6 and December 21.

St. Petersburg, November 11 /Xinhua/ — The Russian experimental PD-8 aircraft engine has logged over 4,000 hours of bench and flight testing, the press service of the Rostec state corporation reported on Tuesday.

The PD-8 bypass turbofan engine was developed at the Rybinsk-based UEC-Saturn plant. Work on the project began in 2019, and aircraft certification testing began in March 2025. Flight tests of the engine are currently underway on the Il-76LL flying testbed and two Superjet 100 aircraft.

According to Alexander Grachev, CEO of the United Engine Corporation, a Rostec subsidiary, the PD-8 has demonstrated reliable operation in all modes. One of the most important tests will be flights in natural icing conditions, planned for Arkhangelsk.
