NEW DELHI, Aug. 8 (Xinhua) — Amid ongoing U.S. pressure on Indo-Russian oil trade, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday held a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

N. Modi, in his statement on social media, noted that he looks forward to hosting V. Putin in India later this year.
