Astana, February 19 (Xinhua) — The Senate of Kazakhstan's parliament approved a law ratifying an intergovernmental agreement with China on the implementation of renewable energy projects, the Kazinform news agency reported on Thursday.

February 19th is Ornithologist Day in Russia. Moscow specialists not only study birds, but also treat them, help them return to their natural habitat, or find a new home. Last year, the Moscow Zoo, which is part of the Moscow Zoo, Department of Culture, opened a new specialized unit in Sokolniki Park—a bird rehabilitation and adaptation center. In January, eight birds were admitted to the center for rehabilitation. Three of them underwent the necessary veterinary procedures and were released into the wild. One of the center's main features is the flight dome. This pavilion, approximately 700 square meters in area, houses a training area where the center's trainers conduct daily training sessions to keep the birds in shape. These sessions run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and visitors can observe the birds through the second-floor windows.
