Filming for director Anna Matison's film project "The Black Man," based on Sergei Yesenin's poem of the same name, took place in Mosfilm's Pavilion 9. The lead and only role is played by Sergei Bezrukov, People's Artist of the Russian Federation.

For one day, Mosfilm's Pavilion No. 9 was transformed into a metaphysical space to bring to life the visual dramaturgy of this highly complex work. Specially for the shoot, Mosfilm-Decorstroy specialists constructed a set that subtly emphasized the poem's atmosphere and metaphors, as well as the inner world of its lyrical protagonist.

The film's production is timed to coincide with significant dates. 2025 has been declared the Year of Yesenin in Russian culture, and October 2 marked the poet's 130th birthday. Sergei Yesenin's work is familiar to everyone, and according to bookstore surveys, he consistently remains one of the most popular authors among readers. But, as Sergei Bezrukov noted, there is one work that stands apart in Yesenin's career, resonating with everyone who encounters it. "The Black Man" is the famous poet's last major poetic work. According to Yesenin scholars, it expresses the poet's despair and horror at reality, a dramatic sense of the futility of any attempt to penetrate the mystery of existence.

The short film's director and production designer is Anna Matison, and the cinematographer is Pavel Beklemishev. Ghanaian specialists shared their impressions of the continuing education program at the RUDN University Institute of Ecology

A delegation of specialists from Ghana visited RUDN University to study waste management, the circular economy, urban ecosystem services, housing and utilities, and digital municipal governance. The classes were held at the Center for Continuing Professional Education at RUDN University's Institute of Ecology.

The Sustainable Urban Development program, which the guests mastered, is aimed at improving practical competencies in sustainable urban development, infrastructure modernization, and the implementation of modern management and digital solutions.

Ghanaian specialists not only attended lectures by university experts and topical seminars but also participated in practical exercises involving real-life case studies from their professional fields. Someday, I would like to be part of a team that implements similar intelligent solutions in our country's transportation system. Your security systems are top-notch," said Ofosu-Mensah Gideon, representative of the Central Ayawaso Municipal Assembly.

"The program modules addressed many issues relevant to our home country. It's a shame we're limited in time; I'd love to come back to further explore QGIS (geographic information system), spatial data, and cybersecurity, gain more knowledge, and implement it in my municipality. I especially enjoyed the tours of various institutions, where we were shown how everything works. It was very helpful. RUDN University lived up to its name, 'Peoples' Friendship University'; I witnessed this friendship with my own eyes. Russia is a wonderful country with wonderful people, and I'd love to come back again to study, explore your country, and learn the language," said Arthur Nana Akua Afriyie, representative of the Korle Klottey Municipal Assembly.

By the end of the program, participants gained practical knowledge in housing and utilities management, waste management, green infrastructure development, and digital urban governance. They learned more about an integrated approach to sustainable urban development and mastered the tools for applying the solutions they learned in the context of Ghanaian cities.

In connection with the publication of a press release on the official website of the European Commission on 3 December 2025 “Commission unveils two solutions to support Ukraine's financing needs in 2026-2027”and the draft regulation of the European Commission “Proposal establishing the Reparations Loan to Ukraine”, which provide for the use of assets placed in financial institutions of the European Union, including the Euroclear depository, without the consent of the Bank of Russia, the Bank of Russia reports the following.

Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of the Government Staff Dmytro Grigorenko instructed the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications, and Mass Media and the Analytical Center under the Government to develop proposals for the creation of a digital platform for the development of data centers. According to the instruction, the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications and the Analytical Center under the Government must develop and submit proposals by March 2026.
