BEIJING, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) — At the invitation of Ding Xuexiang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, Singapore's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong will visit China from December 15 to 16, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson said on Friday.
According to the Chinese diplomat, Ding Xuexiang will co-chair the 21st meeting of the China-Singapore Joint Committee on Bilateral Cooperation, the 26th meeting of the China-Singapore Joint Coordination Council for Suzhou Industrial Park, the 17th meeting of the China-Singapore Joint Coordination Council for Tianjin Eco-City, and the 9th meeting of the China-Singapore Joint Coordination Council for the Implementation of the Chongqing Strategic Connectivity Demonstration Project in Chongqing, southwest China, together with Gan Kim Yong, in Chongqing, southwest China. -0-
