KATHMANDU, October 7 (Xinhua) — The death toll from rain-related disasters in Nepal has reached 51, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRA) said on Tuesday.

BEIJING, Oct. 7 (Xinhua) — China's light industry developed steadily and its output continued to rise during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025), according to the China Federation of Light Industry.

Vienna, October 7 (Xinhua) — Multiple shelling sounds were heard at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) on Monday amid the facility's longest-ever power outage, posing "growing risks" to its nuclear safety, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said in a statement.
