SHANGHAI, July 26 (Xinhua) — Chinese Premier Li Qiang on Saturday said the international community should pay more attention to the joint governance of artificial intelligence (AI), calling for an early establishment of a global AI governance framework and rules based on broad consensus to guide the development and use of AI.

"China attaches great importance to global AI governance and actively participates in promoting multilateral and bilateral cooperation. We are willing to offer more Chinese solutions to the international community," Li Qiang said at the opening ceremony of the 2025 World Conference on Artificial Intelligence and the High-Level Conference on Global Governance of Artificial Intelligence in Shanghai.

TEHRAN, July 26 (Xinhua) — At least eight people (five civilians and three attackers) were killed and 13 others were wounded in a "terrorist" attack on the Justice Department building in Zahedan, capital of Sistan and Baluchestan Province in southeastern Iran, on Saturday morning, the semi-official Tasnim news agency reported.

BEIJING, July 26 (Xinhua) — China has allocated 69 billion yuan (about 9.66 billion U.S. dollars) in a third batch of ultra-long special Treasury bonds to support the country's trade-in program for consumer goods, the Ministry of Finance said Friday.
