At the Timiryazev Center training and exhibition complex in Moscow, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko welcomed the participants of the Abilympics national championship, assessed the competition venue, and spoke with the competitors.

Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Savelyev delivered a lecture entitled "Transportation of the Future: Developing High-Speed Transportation" as part of the educational marathon "Knowledge. Science." Speaking about the preparation of a register of interregional projects, the First Deputy Prime Minister noted that the Russian side has prepared proposals that include 27 projects in 18 Russian regions.

"Overall, it is important for the government and businesses of our countries to continue to pool and coordinate their efforts to comprehensively explore opportunities for cooperation. They also need to develop effective cooperation formats that mitigate opportunistic and geopolitical risks. I am confident that coordinated efforts will take Russian-Chinese investment cooperation to a qualitatively new level," the First Deputy Prime Minister stated.

The Kassym-Jomart Tokayev International Chemistry Olympiad concluded in Zhezkazgan, Kazakhstan. Russian schoolchildren won three gold medals.

Vasily Krasnobrov, a methodologist at the Center for Pedagogical Excellence, served as the team leader.

Following the competition, all three members of the Russian team, students in grades 9, 10, and 11, received gold medals. Igor Ustinov was awarded the Olympiad Grand Prix.

In 2025, an additional 34.6 billion rubles will be allocated to subsidize preferential loans for Russian agricultural producers. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed the corresponding order.

Funds from the reserve fund will allow for the continuation of the preferential lending program for loans provided to agricultural enterprises for the production and processing of agricultural products. These funds will subsidize at least 39,000 previously issued loans.

The preferential lending program for farmers was launched in 2017. Under this program, agricultural producers can take out short-term (up to 2 years) or investment (up to 15 years) loans at a preferential rate.

Taking into account the signed resolution, the total amount of funds for subsidizing preferential loans for farmers in 2025 will amount to more than 187.7 billion rubles.
