RIZHAO, Shandong Province, Aug. 9 (Xinhua) — The Smart Dragon-3 (SD-3) carrier rocket was launched early Saturday in east China's Shandong Province, successfully sending the Geely-04 satellites into their planned orbit.
Smart Dragon-3 blasted off at 00:31 Beijing time from a platform offshore Rizhao City. The launch was carried out by the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center. –0–
