SOLLERS Group has launched a new production line for Sollers ST6 and ST8 pickup truck seats at the UAZ industrial site. The line's design capacity is up to 40,000 seat sets per year. AVTODOM served as the project's industrial partner. The line is a universal complex equipped with electronic equipment that actively monitors all production processes. Computer testing of each seat is performed at the final stage of production. The system verifies the correct tightening of all fasteners and automatically tests the electronics, including the operation of the heating system, adjustments, and heating elements. Assembly workstations are equipped with specialized tools, stations for steam treatment of upholstery, lubrication, and geometry testing of finished seats.
The new line's flexibility allows it to produce a full range of seat modifications for the Sollers ST6 and ST8 models. An expansion of the product line for the Sollers ST9 pickup truck is planned for the near future. The project involves Russian suppliers of soft foam cushions, seat backs, headrests, seat upholstery, and heating elements.
