The SOLLERS Group has begun production of the Sollers SF5 and Sollers SF7 6-speed manual transmissions for light commercial vehicles. Production is being organized at the SOLLERS Transmission Production facility, based at the ZMZ industrial site. The new unit modifications are an evolution of the basic manual transmission versions, production of which began in 2024 with the support of the Industrial Development Fund. The expansion of the transmission model range was made possible by the flexibility of the production line and its rapid changeover.

"The Zavolzhsky Motor Plant site continues to develop as a center of excellence for the production of SOLLERS Group powertrains. In the near future, the plant will also begin serial production of manual transmissions and electromechanical transfer cases for the updated UAZ Patriot, Pickup, and Profi models," noted Albert Vazyansky, CEO of SOLLERS Transmission Production LLC.

SOLLERS Transmission Production currently produces 6-speed manual transmissions for the SOLLERS line of light commercial vehicles and pickup trucks, as well as for the UAZ Profi "Polutorka." The company also manufactures electromechanical transfer cases for SOLLERS pickup trucks. The RosALit foundry, located in the Volga region of the SOLLERS Group, also produces casting and machining of gearbox housings.

The SOLLERS Group's total investment in the development of the ZMZ industrial site since 2023, including the production of power units, transmissions, and foundry projects, has exceeded 3 billion rubles.

For reference: The Sollers SF5 (SF5) is a light commercial vehicle produced at the SOLLERS Alabuga plant since May 2025. The lineup includes all-metal vans, cargo-passenger versions, passenger buses, and chassis for special equipment. The Sollers SF7 (SF7) is a light commercial vehicle with improved load-carrying capacity and transport capabilities. Full-cycle production of this model will begin at the SOLLERS Alabuga plant in the second quarter of 2026.

A new chamber for applying a protective polyurea coating to the cargo compartments of Sollers ST6 and Sollers ST8 pickups, and in the future, to the UAZ Pickup, will begin operation at the SOLLERS Group's Ulyanovsk industrial site.

Commissioning work is currently underway at the production site, with the chamber launch scheduled for April 2026.

A new composition made from a modern elastomer material offers a high degree of resistance to mechanical impact, guaranteeing reliable protection and durability of the cargo compartment under the most challenging operating conditions. Polyurea provides waterproofing and anti-corrosion protection, shielding the metal from moisture, chemicals, and corrosion.

In terms of the combination of mechanical properties and chemical resistance, the new coating surpasses the Raptor polyurethane compounds used previously.

SOLLERS Group has launched a new production line for Sollers ST6 and ST8 pickup truck seats at the UAZ industrial site. The line's design capacity is up to 40,000 seat sets per year. AVTODOM served as the project's industrial partner. The line is a universal complex equipped with electronic equipment that actively monitors all production processes. Computer testing of each seat is performed at the final stage of production. The system verifies the correct tightening of all fasteners and automatically tests the electronics, including the operation of the heating system, adjustments, and heating elements. Assembly workstations are equipped with specialized tools, stations for steam treatment of upholstery, lubrication, and geometry testing of finished seats.

The new line's flexibility allows it to produce a full range of seat modifications for the Sollers ST6 and ST8 models. An expansion of the product line for the Sollers ST9 pickup truck is planned for the near future. The project involves Russian suppliers of soft foam cushions, seat backs, headrests, seat upholstery, and heating elements.

"The launch of seat production is an important step in the development of the SOLLERS industrial site in Ulyanovsk and, in particular, the Sollers product line. We are not only increasing the share of locally sourced components but also developing our own competencies and gaining flexibility in managing our product line," noted Nikolai Khodosevich, Purchasing Director at SOLLERS PJSC.
