BISHKEK, March 3 (Xinhua) — The Tulip Festival opened Monday in the center of Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
The main goal of the event is reportedly to support domestic producers, increase the share of local products in the domestic market, and provide the population with high-quality, environmentally friendly flowers. Furthermore, the festival aims to develop the country's flower industry, promote new varieties, and attract investment in the industry.
