Tbilisi, December 12 /Xinhua/ — In the first 11 months of 2025, passenger traffic at Georgian airports reached a record high of 7.8 million, a 14 percent increase compared to the same period last year, the Georgian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development reported on Friday.

The number of scheduled flights during the reporting period totaled 26,855, and charter flights 8,250, bringing the total to 35,105. This figure also exceeded last year's result of 29,871 and set a record for the industry.

Among the country's international airports, Tbilisi recorded the largest passenger flow, handling 4.98 million passengers, 13 percent more than the previous year. –0–
