Almaty, November 11 (Xinhua) — A scientific and practical conference for high school and college students on the topic "Kazakhstan and China: Traditions and Innovations through the Eyes of Youth" was held in Almaty on Tuesday.
The event was organized by the Laoshi Educational Center in collaboration with ALT University (Academy of Logistics and Transport) and the Belt and Road Scientific and Educational Center, with the support of the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Almaty.
Around 100 students from more than 30 schools and 10 colleges in Almaty participated in the conference. They presented research on Kazakh-Chinese relations, technology and innovation in both countries, and the culture, society, and everyday life of modern China.
Addressing conference participants, Huang Xiaomin, Consul for Education at the Chinese Consulate General in Almaty, stated that young people have always been and remain the main bridge of friendship between China and Kazakhstan. Their ideas, energy, and sincerity are a source of strength that infuses bilateral relations with new meaning, she noted.
