WASHINGTON, Oct. 9 (Xinhua) — U.S. President Donald Trump said Thursday he would try to attend the signing ceremony of the Gaza ceasefire agreement in Egypt.
"I'll try to make the trip. We'll try to get there, and we're working on a time, a precise time," D. Trump said at a White House cabinet meeting.
He added that the hostages in Gaza would be released "on Monday or Tuesday."
On Monday, Israel and Hamas began indirect talks on a ceasefire agreement in Gaza in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.
