BEIJING, Oct. 10 (Xinhua) — Jin Xiangjun, former chairman of North China's Shanxi Province and former vice secretary of the provincial Communist Party (CPC) committee, has been expelled from the Communist Party of China (CPC) and dismissed from public service for serious violations of party discipline and laws, according to an official statement released Friday.
A joint statement from the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission of the People's Republic of China said the decision regarding Jin Xiangjun was made following an investigation conducted with the approval of the CPC Central Committee. -0-
