BEIJING, Aug. 8 (Xinhua) — China will remain consistent in its position on the Ukrainian crisis and continue to promote peace talks, Chinese President Xi Jinping said here on Friday during a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
According to him, China is glad that Russia and the United States maintain contacts, improve relations and promote a political settlement of the Ukrainian crisis.
Xi Jinping and V. Putin also agreed to jointly promote the further development of Chinese-Russian relations. –0–
