KUALA LUMPUR, March 8 (Xinhua) — The ongoing search for missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 in a new zone in the southern Indian Ocean has not yet resulted in the aircraft being located, Malaysia's Transport Ministry announced on Sunday.

The ministry's Air Accident Investigation Bureau said in a statement that the operations were carried out in two phases: from March 25 to 28, 2025 (phase one) and from December 31, 2025 to January 23, 2026 (phase two), with the government previously deploying the UK-based vessel Ocean Infinity to resume the search for the missing plane.

JERUSALEM, March 8 (Xinhua) — The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said Sunday morning it struck F-14 fighter jets at Isfahan Airport in central Iran.

BEIJING, March 8 (Xinhua) — The Long March-8A Y8 carrier rocket, developed by the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology, has been successfully delivered to the launch pad in South China's Hainan Province.
