On March 13, the Russia-Namibia Business Forum will be held in Windhoek, Namibia, as part of the 11th meeting of the Intergovernmental Russian-Namibian Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation. The event was organized at the suggestion of the Namibian side and at the instruction of Yuri Trutnev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District, Chairman of the Russian side of the Intergovernmental Commission.

"The Russian Federation was one of the countries that firmly supported Namibia during its liberation war. We continue to maintain and strengthen friendly relations between Russia and Namibia. This year, at the suggestion of the Namibian side, we will organize a business forum to discuss opportunities for cooperation in the agricultural sector, logistics, energy, mining, as well as issues of technological partnership and human capital development. I am confident that the forum will provide new impetus to strengthening bilateral ties between our countries," said Yuri Trutnev.

The forum will be co-organized by the Ministry of International Relations and Trade of Namibia, the Namibia Investment and Development Promotion Board (NIPDB), the Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI), the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEAC), and the Roscongress Foundation, with the support of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development.

Participants—representatives of government and business circles from both countries—will focus on practical aspects and prospects for expanding cooperation in areas such as trade, energy, geological exploration, investment, transport and logistics, agriculture, high technology, and other priority areas of bilateral cooperation.

"Cooperation between Russia and Namibia is rapidly developing, encompassing subsoil use, energy, agriculture, and education. The countries are strengthening their friendly relations, including through the visa-free regime, which has been in effect since 2021, and are actively collaborating within international organizations. In this regard, organizing a business forum between the two countries takes on added relevance," emphasized Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the President of Russia.

The forum's business program will emphasize industry dialogues aimed at achieving practical results and strengthening partnerships. A business networking platform will be organized for direct business interaction.

Using the mechanisms of the Intergovernmental Russia-Namibia Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, we are moving beyond simply seeking trade opportunities to designing a shared future. Namibia welcomes Russian expertise into its production chains, particularly in areas such as advanced mineral processing, sustainable agriculture, and logistics. The final sound mix for the new film by the Andreasyan Brothers Film Company is nearing completion at Dolby Studio 7, with G. Navasardyan serving as the sound engineer. The film's audio was also recorded at the Mosfilm Studio's sound production facilities (pictured: Polina Gagarina in Studio 11).

The first film was a box office success, and the second installment will be released on March 19, 2026. The director is Viktor Lakisov, the creator of the first film. The distributor is Atmosfera Kino.

According to the plot, Kuzya the brownie continues to live happily with Natasha and her family. The kind Baba Yaga has finally moved into the human world and is trying to be helpful, becoming an unexpected helper to those around her. Everything seems so peaceful, but a mysterious guest appears in Kuzya and Natasha's home—the brownie Tikhonya—and with her, a new wave of magical and exciting adventures begins! The heroes must once again unite to protect the world from the powerful and evil Koschei and keep fairy tales as magical and bright as ever!

"The sequel will be filled with humor, new fairytale locations, and characters. While in the first part of the film we merely introduced viewers to the world of the brownie Kuzya and Natasha, in the second we reveal the story of the friendship between our young heroes. In the new film, the plot also revolves around a magical artifact—the needle of the evil and powerful Koschei. And, oddly enough, we will present his world in various states: both flourishing and dark," said director Viktor Lakisov.

Ivan Okhlobystin portrayed the dangerous Koschei. Ekaterina Stulova, Sofia Petrova, Mark Bogatyryov, Zhenya Malakhova, Oleg Komarov, Alexey Gavrilov, Mark Andreasyan, and others returned to their roles. The voices of beloved characters also remained unchanged: Kuzya the brownie is voiced by Sergey Burunov, and Nafanya by Garik Kharlamov. A new character, Kuzya's mischievous friend Tikhonya, will be voiced by singer Polina Gagarina.

"We had amazing actors working with us, true professionals in their field. We did everything we could to make the second part even brighter, kinder, and more interesting. This is a story of friendship, loyalty, and magic—everything you loved about the first part, and a little more!" shared producer Sarik Andreasyan.

The event, dedicated to International Women's Day, brought together over 100 successful women for discussions, including the Chairperson of the Central Electoral Commission of the Russian Federation, distinguished coaches and multiple champions, actresses, entrepreneurs and bloggers, an orchestra conductor and a KHL commentator, a race car driver, and an airplane pilot. The broadcast was watched by 16.5 million viewers, and 1,800 guests attended the event itself.

The forum kicked off with a discussion on audience engagement tools: experts explained how humor, hate, and a quick response to trends can help promote a personal brand. Gosha Kutsenko made a surprise appearance at the meeting, presenting flowers to the female speakers and talking about the film "Tulips," which he starred in with Varvara Shcherbakova, who was also participating in the discussion. According to Kutsenko, the film was lyrical, tender, and touching. He admitted that he would like to see "Tulips" not only with his family, but also with Varvara Shcherbakova and Valya Karnaval.

In a candid conversation with the audience, Ida Galich and her mother, Zarina Tengizovna Galich, answered a series of quick questions about each other. Ida explained that she grew up in a military family and moved frequently with her parents and brother. She said the hardest part was adjusting to life in Moscow.

Dmitry Nagiev was the forum's secret guest. He answered questions from the audience during an open mic session, moderated by blogger Mash Milash.

At a meeting with Ella Alexandrovna Pamfilova, Chairperson of the Central Electoral Commission, we discussed the advantages of women in politics and changing social roles. Ella Alexandrovna also spoke about the upcoming elections, which plan to make greater use of artificial intelligence and peaceful drones in hard-to-reach regions.

Figure skating coach Eteri Tutberidze gave her first public interview in a long time, answering questions about discipline, the differences between the Russian figure skating school and others, and the diverse personalities of its athletes. The coach emphasized the importance of enjoying training and performance, rather than struggling and suffering. She cited Milan Olympic champion Lucy Liu as an example: according to Eteri, what sets the American skater apart from many others is that she's a down-to-earth girl with a positive and easygoing approach to the sport.

Svetlana Romashina, head coach of the Russian synchronized swimming team; Angelina Melnikova, Olympic champion in artistic gymnastics; Marina Katashinskaya, three-time world champion in ballroom dancing; Alsu Minazova, Tokyo Olympic participant and vice-world champion in canoe slalom; and Anna Prugova, Honored Master of Sports of Russia in ice hockey and KHL TV commentator, spoke about new challenges after achieving remarkable athletic achievements. The meeting was moderated by Maria Kiseleva, Olympic champion in synchronized swimming.

In a discussion about unfeminine professions, participants shared how they mastered the skills of conductor, race car driver, aircraft commander, war correspondent, soccer player, and hockey commentator. In a discussion titled "Moscow as a Center of Cultural Life," experts discussed why Muscovites are willing to spend tens of thousands of rubles on theaters and museums and how cultural outings have become a trend.

Actresses and bloggers Agata Dranga, Svetlana Bondarchuk, Liza Yushchuk, Ekaterina Vyalikova, Natalya Rudova, and Nastasya Samburskaya debunked myths about female friendship. Oksana Domnina, Valeriya, Natasha Bardo, Elena Glukhovskaya, Elena Pinskaya, and Assol shared how to maintain relationships while advancing in their careers.

For the first time, the forum featured a mentoring room, offering one-on-one meetings with experts. Participants received personal branding and business scaling advice through personal consultations. Mentors included Lika Glazkova (Air In The Hair), Ekaterina Minkevich (Influence You PR), Polina Voronina (Flowwow), as well as experts from the VK AdBlogger platform and VKontakte's business and seller development department.

The forum featured 18 discussions: speakers discussed brand DNA, the challenges of growing up in the age of content, the ethics of philanthropy, experiments in contemporary literature, travel, the reboot of Russian cinema, and other topics.

The first meeting of the organizing committee for the 2029 celebration of the 300th anniversary of Catherine the Great's birth was held at Government House. Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova and Chairman of the Russian Historical Society Sergei Naryshkin chaired the meeting. The agenda included a discussion of the draft event plan.

"The reign of Catherine II had a profound impact on strengthening Russian statehood, developing culture and art, and positioning the Russian Empire on the international stage. She went down in history as a bold reformer, embodying large-scale transformations and the strength of our Fatherland. Catherine's 300th anniversary offers a unique opportunity not only to pay tribute to her contribution to Russia's development but also to foster interest in studying the historical and cultural legacy of Catherine's era and to highlight the continuity of traditions," said Tatyana Golikova. "The planned anniversary events include over 98 major events, including international, national, and regional conferences, roundtables, forums, exhibitions on topics related to Catherine II, her work, and her era, the publication of scholarly works dedicated to her, and restoration work."

"The golden age of Catherine the Great holds a special place in Russian history. No reign, with the possible exception of Peter the Great's, has left such a profound imprint on the memories of contemporaries and the thoughts of posterity," noted Sergei Naryshkin. "Currently, our organizing committee's event plan already includes a significant number of proposals from RIO members: universities, research organizations, museums, archives, and libraries. These proposals include exhibitions, conferences, and publications. The publication of the multi-volume works 'Commanders of the Era of Catherine the Great' and 'Reforms of the Era of Catherine II' could be important milestones for Russian historical scholarship. The anniversary year, in turn, culminates in a large-scale Catherine Forum, which will allow us to fully appreciate the empress's multifaceted legacy."

The draft plan was developed by the Ministry of Culture taking into account proposals from the Russian Historical Society, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Digital Development, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, the Federal Archives Agency, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, the Federal Agency for Ethnic Affairs, the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Bank of Russia, as well as from the country's regions – the Krasnodar and Stavropol Krais, the Vladimir, Moscow, Sverdlovsk, Samara, and Tula Oblasts, the Republics of Buryatia and Crimea, the Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics, Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Sevastopol.

The Bank of Russia is considering issuing a commemorative coin for the anniversary. Additionally, the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications, and Mass Media and the joint-stock company "Marka" will organize the issuance and cancellation of a state postal payment stamp.

"As part of the celebrations for the 300th anniversary of Catherine II's birth, a variety of initiatives will be implemented, including international forums, competitions, lecture series, scientific and educational programs, theatrical performances, concerts, plays, museum exhibitions, conferences, roundtables, excursions, balls, the digitization and publication of archival documents related to the empress's activities, as well as the publication of books and scholarly works," noted Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova.

The Ministry of Culture has planned anniversary events at the State Hermitage Museum, the State Russian Museum, the Peterhof State Museum-Reserve, the State Historical Museum, the Research Museum of the Russian Academy of Arts, the All-Russian A.S. Pushkin Museum, the Russian National Library, the Russian State Library, the M.I. Rudomino All-Russian State Library for Foreign Literature, the State Public Historical Library of Russia, the Russian State Library of Arts, the Russian State Library for the Blind, the Russian State Library for Young Adults, the Russian State Children's Library, and at educational institutions in the cultural sector.

The Russian State Film Fund plans to restore the films “The Accession of the House of Romanov,” “The Tercentenary of the Reign of the House of Romanov” (1613–1913), and “Admiral Ushakov” by 2029, as well as screen them in Donetsk, Lugansk, Mariupol, Melitopol, and Berdyansk.

Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education and Co-Chair of the Russian Historical Society Konstantin Mogilevsky, State Secretary and Deputy Head of the Federal Archival Agency Andrei Yurasov, Director General of the State Historical Museum Alexei Levykin, Acting Director of the Institute of Russian History of the Russian Academy of Sciences Denis Gergilev, Director General of the National Library of Russia Denis Tsypkin, and others also gave presentations.
