Remote monitoring of patients undergoing chemotherapy has been launched in Moscow oncology centers. More than 1.6 thousand cancer patients are already participating in the project. Thanks to the service, doctors will be able to continuously monitor the condition of patients, promptly adjust therapy and formulate the most optimal treatment tactics. "In the capital, we are creating a comprehensive approach to working with cancer patients – from routing in the clinic to providing discounted drugs. A new stage in this system was the project of remote support for a certain number of patients on chemotherapy in Moscow cancer centers. Now, between courses of treatment, they can fill out questionnaires about their health online and consult with doctors as part of telemedicine appointments. This allows specialists to receive up-to-date data on the dynamics of a person's condition, continuously monitor it, promptly track critical changes, adjust treatment tactics and remotely prescribe the necessary tests. Today, the project already has more than 1,600 participants; in six months, they have completed more than nine thousand surveys and over three thousand consultations," said Anastasia Rakova.
