WASHINGTON, March 19 (Xinhua) — If Iran attacks Qatar again, the US military will blow up Iran's South Pars gas field, US President Donald Trump warned in a post on Truth Social on Wednesday.

Trump's statement came after Iran struck Qatari liquefied natural gas facilities in retaliation for an Israeli strike on Wednesday on Iran's South Pars natural gas field in the Persian Gulf, which it shares with Doha.

“The United States knew nothing about this attack, and Qatar was not involved in it in any way and had no idea that it would happen,” said Donald Trump.

“Israel will no longer attack the vital and valuable South Pars gas field unless Iran makes the unwise decision to attack Qatar again,” the American president noted.

If Iran attacks Qatar again, “the United States of America, with or without Israel’s help and consent, will blow up the South Pars gas field with a force the likes of which Iran has never seen before,” Trump added. –0–

By the end of 2025, 20 years since the project's inception in 2005, the complete collection, printing, and publication of the "Xizang Manuscripts from Dunhong and the Western Region in the British Library" and "Xizang Manuscripts from Dunhong in the National Library of France" series were completed. This project was carried out jointly by Northwest University for Nationalities and the Shanghai Ancient Book Publishing House, along with the British Library and the National Library of France, respectively. Now, these valuable ancient manuscripts, once outside of China, are being returned to their historical homeland in the form of high-quality facsimile editions.

According to Cairan, professor and director of the Institute of Overseas Ethnic Documents at Northwest University for Nationalities, the total number of volumes of ancient Xizang manuscripts from Dunhuang held in the UK and France is 61. Of these, 35 volumes of "Xizang Manuscripts from Dunhuang in the National Library of France," containing over 28,000 high-quality facsimile images, were fully published in 2021. The 26 volumes of "Xizang Manuscripts from Dunhuang and the Western Region in the British Library" were fully published in 2025.

It is noted that in 2005, Northwest University for Nationalities signed an agreement with the Shanghai Ancient Book Publishing House to jointly prepare and publish the aforementioned collections. That same year, the university specifically established the Institute of Overseas Ethnic Documents, responsible for the preparation for publication and research of the Xizang manuscripts from Dunhuang held abroad.

Zhaxi Danzhen, a professor at Northwest University for Nationalities, noted that the research team, through a comprehensive and systematic collection of relevant documents, carried out the attribution of each of these extensive and fragmentary texts, completing their identification and naming in Chinese and Xizang.

The Dunhuang Xizang manuscripts are the oldest known Xizang texts on paper. Their contents encompass Buddhist canons, historical works, written treaties, administrative documents, legal codes, and many other areas relating to the history, politics, economics, and culture of Xizang. They represent invaluable historical resources for studying the history and culture of the Tubo Kingdom (633-842). The collections from Great Britain and France are the most comprehensive and possess the highest academic value, and are rightfully considered primary sources for the study of Xizang history and culture.

On March 18, a delegation from the A.I. Meshcheryakov Family Center visited the State University of Management to discuss the possibility of concluding a cooperation agreement and implementing joint projects.

The delegation included the head of the center Sergei Zakharov, his deputy Anna Fomina, chief accountant Tatyana Rumyantseva and members of the SVO Pavel Epikhin and Sergei Vasiliev.

GUU Vice-Rector Maria Karelina and university scientists introduced the guests to the university's research departments and modern laboratories, and discussed ongoing projects.

Vladimir Filatov, Director of the University's Engineering Project Management Center, spoke about the State University of Management's Student Design Bureau "Innovative Solutions," presented a project to digitize documentation and parts for an electric train, and shared his experience organizing a virtual design bureau for collaborative networking between several organizations. The scientist emphasized that, given the acute shortage of personnel, especially engineering and design personnel, it is often difficult for a single team to accomplish large-scale enterprise tasks. Thanks to the networking format established by the project team, they were able to attract students from various universities, regardless of their location, and successfully complete the tasks.

Guests were introduced to a major scientific project, the "digital village," which is a support platform for farmers that can help them start their own agricultural businesses, determine the best development path, and find partners. Anna Fomina, Deputy Director of the Family Center, suggested exploring the possibility of expanding the project to the Republic of Kalmykia and developing a demo version for presentation in the republic in the near future.

At the Reverse Engineering Laboratory, Vladimir Filatov demonstrated import substitution technologies and real-world developments: a project to produce bandages, a front-line armored personnel carrier, and the production of spare parts analogs for foreign-made equipment. Sergey Zakharov, Director of the Family Center, noted the high potential of the presented projects and areas of work.

At the Unmanned Aircraft Systems Laboratory at the RosGeoTech Industrial School, guests were introduced to the ongoing projects "ABRIS," "Geomap," and a project on role-based drone swarm control. The CNC Laboratory explained the CNC machine operator training process, working on simulators before transitioning to real-world production control, and the variety of programs already implemented at the laboratory.

At the end of the meeting, representatives of the A.I. Meshcheryakov Family Center discussed prospects for future joint projects with SUM scientists.

"We've identified many interesting areas of collaboration that we can pursue together. Today, our primary focus is on joint programs for our clients. These are primarily participants in the SVO and young people with disabilities who undergo rehabilitation and vocational skills training with us," concluded Sergey Zakharov.

The parties agreed to sign a cooperation agreement to implement joint programs in industrial engineering, CNC machine control, and UAV operations for SVO participants and people with various medical conditions.
