The "Digital Solutions" information technology forum will be held in Russia. Launched with government support, it will become an annual event. The Digital Solutions Forum aims to be more than just an industry conference, but a strategic platform for active interaction between business and government representatives to jointly develop measures for the development of the IT sector. Furthermore, the event will feature an exhibition of the best domestic IT solutions, which will be available for evaluation by both industrial players and citizens – the end users of these services.

The forum will open with a plenary session dedicated to discussing Russia's digital development achievements, the implementation of the national "Data Economy" project, and key areas determining the future development of the IT industry.

The forum's business program covers three thematic areas: business, society, and federal and regional government. Each area is dedicated to a separate day. This comprehensive approach will allow participants to develop a comprehensive understanding of how digital technologies impact the economy, public administration, and public life in the country.

The digital solutions exhibition is divided into eight thematic zones, focusing on key areas of the country's digital development: Communications and Telecom, Government Services, Software, Artificial Intelligence, Platforms and Services, Cybersecurity, Russian Hardware, and Personnel and Training. Interactive displays are designed to maximize engagement for visitors of all ages and backgrounds.

The forum is being held by the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications, and Mass Media of the Russian Federation with the support of the Russian Government. The project operator is the National Priorities NGO, and the forum's business program operator is the Digital Economy NGO.

UNITED NATIONS, Sept. 22 (Xinhua) — UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Sunday called on the international community to "put down our weapons, end suffering, build bridges and create stability and prosperity" in his message to mark the International Day of Peace, observed annually on September 21.

"The world cannot wait," the head of the global organization said, adding that this year's International Day of Peace calls on each of us to support this call.

According to A. Guterres, all over the world, in the face of the cruelty and devastation of war, people are dying, children are deprived of their childhood, and human dignity is trampled upon.

"We're seeing an explosive growth in conflicts. International law is being ignored. And record numbers of people are fleeing their homes," he said.

"Where there is peace, there is hope" – families are united, communities are rebuilt, children are learning and playing, the UN chief said.

The International Day of Peace was established by the UN General Assembly in 1981. Two decades later, in 2001, the General Assembly unanimously voted to declare the day a period of non-violence and ceasefire. China prepares for Typhoon Ragasa

Beijing, September 22 (Xinhua) — China is preparing for Typhoon Ragasa, the 18th typhoon of the year. Heavy rainfall is expected to hit the southern and eastern parts of the country.

According to the National Meteorological Center (NMC), Ragasa strengthened into a super typhoon on Sunday morning. It is expected to make landfall between Shanwei City, Guangdong Province, and Wenchang City, Hainan Province, between Wednesday morning and midday.

Meteorologists have warned that Ragasa, moving fast and maintaining strength, will become the most powerful typhoon to hit China this year.

As the typhoon approaches, heavy rainfall is expected from Tuesday through Thursday in eastern Taiwan and parts of Guangdong, Fujian, and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Rainfall amounts will reach 280 mm in some areas. Heavy rainfall is also expected in parts of Jiangsu and Anhui provinces, the National Meteorological Center predicted.

NSU students and faculty successfully participated in the 24th International Conference on Cryptography SIBECRYPT

The G. P. Agibalov International Conference "Computer Security and Cryptography" was successfully held from September 8 to 13 in Irkutsk at the Matrosov Institute of System Dynamics and Control Theory of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

More than 100 specialists and students from Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Krasnoyarsk, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Taganrog, Rostov-on-Don, Veliky Novgorod, Innopolis, Irkutsk, and other cities took part in the conference.

Faculty and students presented panel presentations on computer security, the mathematical foundations of computer science, and applied discrete mathematics. Participants also spent a wonderful evening by the fire on the banks of the Angara River, collaborated on a warm creative evening, and enjoyed an unforgettable excursion to Lake Baikal, including a visit to the Taltsy Museum-Reserve.

"I'd especially like to highlight the lecture by A.M. Koreneva, S.P. Panasenko, and G.V. Firsov (Moscow), 'Post-quantum symmetric cryptography based on block ciphers: existing solutions and current research directions.' It was extremely relevant and very memorable for all the listeners, especially our team from Novosibirsk, as we conduct research in this area," said Natalia Tokareva, chair of the SIBECRYPT organizing committee and associate professor at NSU.

Twelve faculty and students from NSU participated in the conference, presenting plenary and sectional papers on cryptographic protocols and cryptographic Boolean functions. The high level of work performed by the Novosibirsk group deserves special mention.

SIBECRYPT is one of the leading conferences on cryptography and computer security in Russia, held annually in various cities across Siberia. Its goal is to discuss fundamental mathematical problems of cryptography and information security in computer systems and networks, and to exchange scientific results on the development of theoretical foundations and the creation of hardware and software for computer security.

This year the conference was held in Irkutsk with the support ofInternational Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok, Tomsk State University, and the Sofia Kovalevskaya North-West Center for Mathematical Research. Organizers and partners also included the Matrosov Institute of System Dynamics and Control Theory of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Cryptography, Communications, and Informatics of the FSB Academy, the Academy of Cryptography of the Russian Federation, Lomonosov Moscow State University, and Special Technology Center LLC.
