Red Wings will begin flying to Yerevan from Orenburg on March 18, 2026.

Red Wings has opened ticket sales for a new direct route between Orenburg and Yerevan. Flights will be operated on Russian SSJ-100 aircraft once a week during the summer season. The inaugural flight is scheduled for June 4.

Departure from Orenburg is on Thursdays at 11:10 AM. Travel time to the capital of Armenia is 3 hours 5 minutes. The return flight from Yerevan departs at 2:05 PM.

The opening of the new route will allow residents of Orenburg and neighboring cities in the region to more conveniently plan trips to one of the world's oldest cities, located at the foot of Mount Ararat.

KAMAZ-LEASING is participating in the 30th anniversary TransRussia International Exhibition, currently taking place in Moscow. The KAMAZ-54901 high-tech version of the long-haul truck is on display at the stand.

The KAMAZ-54901 (4×2) long-haul tractor with ADAS embodies the latest developments from KAMAZ engineers. The vehicle was designed with global automotive trends in mind. This version of the flagship K5-generation truck features aerodynamic fairings on the cab and chassis, improving aerodynamics and reducing fuel consumption by 5 to 10%. The SOLLERS Group has begun production of seats for Sollers pickup trucks in Ulyanovsk.

SOLLERS Group has launched a new production line for Sollers ST6 and ST8 pickup truck seats at the UAZ industrial site. The line's design capacity is up to 40,000 seat sets per year. AVTODOM served as the project's industrial partner. The line is a universal complex equipped with electronic equipment that actively monitors all production processes. Computer testing of each seat is performed at the final stage of production. The system verifies the correct tightening of all fasteners and automatically tests the electronics, including the operation of the heating system, adjustments, and heating elements. Assembly workstations are equipped with specialized tools, stations for steam treatment of upholstery, lubrication, and geometry testing of finished seats.

The new line's flexibility allows it to produce a full range of seat modifications for the Sollers ST6 and ST8 models. An expansion of the product line for the Sollers ST9 pickup truck is planned for the near future. The project involves Russian suppliers of soft foam cushions, seat backs, headrests, seat upholstery, and heating elements.

"The launch of seat production is an important step in the development of the SOLLERS industrial site in Ulyanovsk and, in particular, the Sollers product line. KAMAZ held a professional skills competition among mentors

A professional skills competition among mentors was held at the KAMAZ PJSC forging plant.

This is the second time the forge plant has held this competition. This year, 17 people decided to test their skills. Vladimir Davydov, the winner of last year's competition and a machine tool and manipulator adjuster with control units from the stamping and tooling department, was invited to participate without any qualifications. "Competition participants are typically experienced individuals who have been mentoring new employees for years. This time, there were more competitors," said Nadezhda Sharavyova, Chief HR Development Specialist.

Participants had to answer 15 questions in the theoretical part. The organizers prepared the test based on the KAMAZ mentoring program. They had half an hour to complete the task, but the mentors completed it in half the time. In the second part, participants watched two clips from the cartoons "Catch a Wave" and "Kung Fu Panda." In the first, the mentor, penguin Zeke, despite making mistakes, tried to teach the main character, Cody, how to properly build a surfboard. The second mentor, Master Shifu, was reluctant to take on the panda, setting him challenges that he failed. Participants had to note all the details on their checklists: for example, whether the training location and time were chosen correctly, and what the mentor could have done that would be helpful for the student. Points were awarded for each completed competition task.

Tatyana Lebedeva, a logistics operator at SHIK, took third place in the competition. Instrumentation and automation fitter Denis Kraisman from the Central Metrology Laboratory took second place. Gleb Aleksanov, an electrician at TsRiOOK-5, won.

The awards were presented to the winners by Igor Malyasev, director of the forge plant, and Pavel Volokhov, chairman of the plant's trade union. All winners will represent their plant at the KAMAZ competition.

On Friday, March 13, the KAMAZ Visitor Center hosted an educational and practical seminar titled "Modern Trends in the Development and Application of Artificial Intelligence in Engineering and the Automotive Industry," featuring Vladimir Knyagin, Vice Governor of St. Petersburg.

The business meeting was attended by KAMAZ PJSC CEO Sergey Kogogin, the company's top managers, Marina Lipetskaya, Director of the North-West Center for Strategic Research Foundation, Dmitry Sanatov, Partner of the North-West Center for Strategic Research Foundation, representatives of Yandex LLC, Sberbank PJSC, Severstal PJSC, and others. Experts from various KAMAZ divisions were also present.

Sergey Kogogin, CEO of KAMAZ PJSC, addressed the audience with a welcoming speech. The company's CEO noted that the implementation of intelligent systems in production is becoming a prerequisite for ensuring technological sovereignty and maintaining leadership in a rapidly changing global market. "It's clear that artificial intelligence technologies are becoming key, strategic. This topic is being addressed at the state level – the direction has been set by Russian President Vladimir Putin. As the head of state noted, for Russia this is a matter of state, technological, and value sovereignty. Our country must possess a full range of its own technologies and products in the field of generative artificial intelligence," Kogogin emphasized.

"Artificial intelligence has now penetrated communications: document management, image recognition, and automated response generation. Almost every large organization has a robot answering calls. We see the use of AI growing. But the greatest expectations are still associated with its penetration into industry. For the automotive industry, this is a matter of transitioning to autonomous vehicle control. The next step is the widespread adoption of robots. And not the traditional manipulators of the 1970s, but autonomous robots capable of navigating tasks and space, and assessing the performance of various operations. The key, however, is the management of large multi-domain sites such as workshops. Sooner or later, we will achieve intelligent manufacturing," commented Vladimir Knyagin, Vice Governor of St. Petersburg.

"We, like most companies both globally and in Russia, have already begun using artificial intelligence in certain processes. Our employees use it in one way or another. But we understand that AI is more than just an assistant. In some processes, AI will take on the role of first pilot, leaving humans in the supporting role—the role of second pilot," noted Eldar Shavaliev, Director of the Digital Transformation Center at KAMAZ PJSC.

The second part of the seminar featured intensive group work, during which specialists and experts exchanged practical experiences. In summing up, the participants noted the highly productive nature of the business meeting.

During the visit, business negotiations were also held between the seminar participants and KAMAZ PJSC top managers. The parties discussed promising areas of cooperation and the implementation of joint high-tech projects. Additionally, some guests were given a tour of KAMAZ facilities. The group visited the automobile plant, where they were shown the main assembly line and the cab assembly line, and toured the press and frame plant, where they were shown the chassis shop and paint shop.
