Large-scale improvement and development of all-season infrastructure for recreation and sports is one of Moscow's key priorities. This will help enhance the city's appeal to residents and visitors, Sergei Sobyanin stated in his annual report on the Moscow Government's performance.

As of today, the renovation of the first 55 schools has been completed. In the future, approximately one hundred buildings will be reconstructed and constructed annually.
