In summer, city dwellers especially love to buy ice cream. On Strastnoy Boulevard, they sell not only a tasty, but also a healthy dessert. Violetta Gerasimchuk, the creator of the brand, last year occupied a retail chalet on Tverskoy Boulevard and already then, thanks to the Summer in Moscow project, she found regular customers. The entrepreneur and her husband make special ice cream without sugar and milk, which can be consumed by people with diabetes, immunodeficiency and intolerance to certain foods.

"We are very happy that we were chosen – we managed to develop a very large customer base, which waits a whole year to come to us again. Most of them became our friends – there was a touching story when the parents of a little girl with a complex allergy were finally able to find a dessert for her. The first ice cream of such quality and with such unique flavors that she tried in her life was ours. In gratitude, the family baked bread for us," shared Violetta Gerasimchuk.

Thanks to the free rental of a site in the very center of Moscow, the entrepreneur can organize tastings, give guests delicious gifts and offer discounts.

The designer compositions of porcelain flowers and handmade decorations within the framework of the project "Summer in Moscow" were brought to Tverskaya Square by their creator Maria. She noted that it is comfortable to work here primarily thanks to the administrators, who always promptly resolved any issues and maintained a friendly atmosphere.

"We didn't have to worry about safety – we left the goods and went home without any worries. The counters and trading houses are made as convenient as possible, the structures are very strong, which is important for our fragile products," added Maria.

The opportunity to display her products in the very center of the city helped Maria gain popularity on social networks. Residents and guests of the capital got acquainted with decorative items simply by walking around the capital, and almost no one went home empty-handed.

On September 7, the fifth festival of water sports will be held on the Grebnoy Canal in Krylatskoye. The event is organized by the capital Department of Sports.

The main event of the festival will be the final of the Russian championship in water-motor sports. About 150 athletes from 15 regions of the country will take part in it. The architectural concept of the Moscow Depository and Exhibition Center in TiNAO has been determined. Sergei Sobyanin spoke about what it will be like in his blog.

"Moscow museums store inexhaustible treasures of Russian and world culture. The most valuable exhibits are included in permanent exhibitions, for obvious reasons, the majority of the collection is kept in storage and used from time to time. To create favorable conditions for storing items of the Museum Fund of the Russian Federation and at the same time involve at least some of them in active cultural life – this is the task of the new Depository and Exhibition Center, which we plan to build in Kommunarka. The total area of the building will be 72 thousand square meters, it will be divided into three main zones. The exhibition space will occupy almost 19 thousand square meters. The spacious halls will be able to accommodate up to four thousand visitors at a time.

The open storage area will be over 21 thousand square meters, and the special premises of the Tretyakov Gallery will be over 10 thousand square meters. These will not be the usual, locked places, but large exhibition halls where everyone will be able to see exhibits that have been in classic storage rooms for decades.

In addition, the building will have cozy public spaces, administrative premises and a high-tech restoration center with workshops. A spacious underground parking lot will be equipped for visitors and employees of the center.

The building uses several innovative architectural solutions, all of which are designed with the environment in mind. The main feature of the facade will be its functionality. Large media screens can be used to display event announcements, broadcast events, and introduce city residents to masterpieces of Russian culture. The facades will be made of a spatial shell, which will give them expressiveness and will be integrated into the modern urban context.

The improvement of the territory will create a new public space and improve the ecological situation of the area. In the first half of 2025, the turnover of Moscow textile and clothing manufacturers amounted to 139 billion rubles. Compared to the same period last year, these figures increased by 29.6 percent in comparable prices. This was reported by Maria Bagreeva, Deputy Mayor of Moscow, Head of the Department of Economic Policy and Development.

"There are many clothing and textile manufacturers in Moscow — from large factories specializing in mass production to small studios and designer brands. They are developing production, introducing innovative solutions, which allows them to supply the capital market with products that can satisfy any requests from citizens. In the first half of 2025, enterprises in the industry earned 139 billion rubles, exceeding the figure for the same period last year by almost a third. Moscow clothing and textile manufacturers account for 3.8 percent of the turnover of Moscow's manufacturing industries excluding the oil and gas sector and more than 20 percent of the total turnover of the industry in Russia," said Maria Bagreeva.

More than 80 percent of the industry's revenue — about 115 billion rubles — was provided by clothing manufacturing enterprises. Compared to last year, this figure increased by 34 percent. Textile manufacturers accounted for almost 20 percent of the total turnover — 25.4 billion rubles, which is 12.4 percent more than the previous year.

Small businesses make the main contribution to the industry's growth. Their turnover increased by 70 percent compared to the first half of 2024 and reached 85 billion rubles.
