Specialists at Rosneft's research institute in Tyumen have developed RN-AutoBalance software, based on neural network modeling technology. This innovative software automatically calculates optimal well operating modes without human intervention, thereby improving the efficiency of mature oil field development.

The neural network algorithms built into RN-AutoBalance analyze the dynamics of process indicators, identify the relationship between production and injection wells, and redistribute injection to those wells that produce the greatest effect.

The software was successfully tested at the Malyk field in the Uvatsky District of the Tyumen Region, where RN-Uvatneftegaz (a Rosneft production asset) produces. Over three months of pilot operations, RN-AvtoBalans optimized the operating modes of 46 injection wells. Total water injection volumes were reduced by 222,000 cubic meters, and oil production increased by 4%.

RN-Avtobalans will be integrated into the RN-KIN corporate software and replicated at other Rosneft fields.

Developing technological potential is a key element of the Rosneft-2030 strategy. The company prioritizes innovation and the use of breakthrough scientific approaches, identifying technological leadership as a key factor in competitiveness in the oil market.

A meeting with Oleg Burtov, a member of the assault unit and a member of the Special Military Forces (SVO) with the call sign "Lawyer," was held at the Higher School of Law and Forensic Science of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.

Oleg Burtovoy is a professional lawyer, was a deputy of a representative body of local government, a qualified attorney who carried out his professional activities at the St. Petersburg Bar Association (SPbBA – employer representative and partner of SPbPU).

Following his heart, Oleg Viktorovich volunteered for a special military operation in 2023. He is currently undergoing rehabilitation after four injuries and found time to tell the Polytechnic students what motivated him—a successful lawyer and father of two young children—to volunteer for the front. The students listened attentively to stories of the heroism of Russian soldiers and how they protect civilians. They were particularly impressed by his words about the civic duty of every person in the fight against Nazism—whether on the front lines or in the rear.

After the meeting, Oleg Viktorovich was given a tour of the laboratories of the HSE's Forensic Science Center. He emphasized that practice-oriented legal education in today's environment is an achievement of the Polytechnic University, a leading engineering university where the integration of humanities and technical disciplines is essential. Forensic legal expertise is a modern trend that should be built upon in the development of university education.

"I wish the Polytechnic University success in training engineers, lawyers, and managers for the new Russia, who will forge our victories and bring glory to the Fatherland through their labor, and who, if necessary, will rise as one to defend our Motherland," Oleg Viktorovich noted. "I would especially like to thank everyone for their commitment and support. We, behind the ribbon, feel the support of the entire country. Together, we are strong! And we will win!"

UN, September 25 /Xinhua/ — Iran does not seek to acquire nuclear weapons, President of the Islamic Republic Masoud Pezeshkian stated Wednesday at the general debate of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.

“I hereby reiterate to this assembly that Iran has never sought and will never seek to develop a nuclear bomb,” he said.

"We do not seek nuclear weapons. This is our conviction, based on the decree of the Supreme Leader and religious authorities. Therefore, we have never sought weapons of mass destruction and never will," the president emphasized.

M. Pezeschkian stated that attempts by three European countries (Great Britain, France and Germany), which are parties to the 2015 nuclear deal, to restore UN sanctions against Iran are illegal.

The three countries, known as the "EU3," said they had triggered the "snapback" mechanism of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on Iran's nuclear program by notifying the UN Security Council on August 28 that Tehran was not complying with the agreement.

However, the legality of this step by the EU3 is being challenged, as it did not invoke the Dispute Resolution Mechanism provided for in the JCPOA and Resolution 2231 approving the deal.

According to the JCPOA and Resolution 2231, the Dispute Resolution Mechanism has 35 days to resolve the dispute. Snapback can only be initiated if a solution cannot be found in the previous stage.

The Ili Ancient Town Cultural and Tourism Zone in Yining, Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, is known as a "folk architecture museum" thanks to the unique appearance of its residential buildings and cultural heritage. In recent years, local authorities have been exploring the potential of intangible cultural heritage (ICH), transforming local representative ICH sites into immersive projects and workshops for tourists. This preserves ICH traditions and boosts the development of cultural tourism.

"We hope that tourists will be able to experience the warmth of traditional crafts and appreciate the depth of intangible cultural heritage through interactive creativity," said Yimulan Pulati, tourism coordinator for the Yining City Kashanqi Folklore Tourism Development Company. He noted that the ancient city of Ili still boasts artisans who make traditional "doppa" skullcaps, "kunqi" leather goods, and "cheleqchi" tin jugs. Representative ICH projects from across Xinjiang have also been brought in. "We hope that tourists will be able to experience the diversity of ICH here and create unique ICH items with their own hands," said Yimulan Pulati.

"The preservation and heritage of ICH in the ancient city of Ili aims to reintroduce traditional crafts into everyday life and integrate cultural memory into the modern era," explained Yimulan Pulati. Through the training of successors and innovative projects that provide hands-on experience, crafts such as leatherworking, horsehide painting, and sand painting flourish in the fusion of culture and tourism, while China's superb traditional culture is transmitted and developed through exchange and mutual enrichment. This helps breathe new life into the ancient city of Ili through the integration of ICH with cultural tourism.

On September 23, at approximately 4:30 a.m. local time, the Istanbul Bridge departed from the Beilun port district of Zhoushan Port in Ningbo, bound for the UK's largest container port, Felixstowe. This marks the official opening of the world's first Arctic express container route between China and Europe.

According to available information, on September 22, the Istanbul Bridge completed loading over 1,000 TEU containers in the Beilun port district of Zhoushan Port. The vessel will travel along the Northern Sea Route (Northeast Passage) directly to Europe. The one-way journey to the port of Felixstowe will take just 18 days. This is a new record, following the launch of the route to the German port of Wilhelmshaven in late 2024, which took 26 days.

The China-Europe Arctic Express Route is a major achievement in realizing the construction of the "Ice Silk Road" under the Belt and Road Initiative and will provide faster and lower-carbon international logistics options for Chinese industries such as high-tech manufacturing, cross-border e-commerce and new energy.
