Moscow, March 30 (Xinhua) — Russian MS-21, SJ-100, and Il-114 aircraft completed tests in natural icing conditions in the Russian city of Arkhangelsk, the Rostec state corporation announced on Monday.

"Specialists from the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of the Rostec State Corporation) have completed the additional certification flight testing program for the MS-21, SJ-100, and Il-114 aircraft in natural icing conditions. The flights were conducted from Talagi International Airport in Arkhangelsk from March 12 to 30," the statement reads.

"The SJ-100 completed nine flights under the additional certification test program in natural icing conditions, the MS-21 completed six, and the Il-114 completed eight. The flight test program was fully completed. The results showed that the MS-21, SJ-100, and Il-114 fully comply with Russian and international aviation standards when flying in natural icing conditions," Rostec clarified.

The MS-21 and SJ-100 prototype aircraft have already arrived at their base at Zhukovsky Airport near Moscow, where they will continue their main certification flight test program. The Il-114 has also completed checks in Arkhangelsk and is preparing to return.

Tehran, March 30 (Xinhua) — Relevant Iranian institutions, including parliament, are considering Iran's withdrawal from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), Iran's semi-official Tasnim news agency reported on Monday.

As the agency pointed out, it is becoming increasingly clear to Iran that there is no reason for further participation in the NPT.

Under the NPT, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) must create conditions to protect and support Iran in its use of peaceful nuclear technologies and provide the necessary tools. It notes that there are no grounds for continued participation in the NPT, as the IAEA "tacitly encourages the enemy to use nuclear weapons against Iranian nuclear facilities, while the United States and Israel carry out hostile attacks on the country's facilities without any obstruction or condemnation from the Agency."

World Water Day: The Russian Agricultural Bank and the Russian Geographical Society opened the improved Agoy spring in the Krasnodar region.

On March 18, the Ecology Foundation of the Russian Agricultural Bank and the Russian Geographical Society ceremoniously opened the improved Agoy spring in the Tuapse District of Kuban. The event coincided with Water Resources Day, celebrated on March 22.

The Agoy Pass is part of the Agoy Pass Outcrops natural monument, located along the Sochi-Novorossiysk federal highway in the Nebugsky district forestry. The pass is a 10-kilometer-long wall consisting of a chain of cliffs reaching 40 meters in height. Oaks, beech stands, and occasional pine trees grow at the summit of the Agoy Pass.

The Ecology Foundation, together with the Russian Geographical Society, carried out a comprehensive project to improve the spring: they took water samples, created a comfortable recreational area around it, installed benches, and set up an information board. Local residents who came to collect spring water expressed their gratitude for the work done.

Secretary-General António Guterres called for accountability for the death of an Indonesian peacekeeper serving with the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), where fighting between Israel and Hezbollah continues. Another Indonesian peacekeeper was seriously injured.
