Mountains of fake sweets, vibrant costumes, and traditional oranges—Cheburashka 2 is a true visual attraction, assembled from thousands of details. Together, they transform the film into a cozy world you'll want to return to.

The mountains of sweets at Sonya's birthday party were a masterpiece of engineering. The desserts melted in the sun, so some were remade with foam. Each cake was color-tested to ensure perfect fit in the frame, and transparent caps protected the sweets from the rain.

Rimma (Elena Yakovleva) retained her status as the leading fashionista – she had a unique costume made for each scene.

To ensure a natural sound, Olga Kuzmina (the voice of Cheburashka) actually ate oranges during recording.

The film's distinctive feature is its dynastic casting. Valera was played by the Dobronravovs, father and son, and the Hunter by the Lykovs. This resulted in a rare continuity of characters in film.

For Sonya's birthday scene, artists created over 200 costumes for the extras.

The family blockbuster "Cheburashka 2" was released on January 1st. The film's distributor is Central Partnership (part of Gazprom-Media Holding). The first installment grossed 6.787 billion rubles, becoming the highest-grossing Russian film of all time.

Fairy tales seem like a simple genre. However, the acting community believes they're more challenging to play than dramas. You understand the magical world around you, but you have to perform it for real. That's why each role is so special.

We asked the actors of Prostokvashino what participating in this project means to them.

A fairy tale is a separate story, the pinnacle of artistic creativity, – Ivan Okhlobystin (postman Pechkin).

The role of Uncle Fyodor's mother is a gift. I'm simply a lucky person, – Liza Moryak (Uncle Fyodor's mother).

It was a great pleasure to play such a role and show the film to my children, – Pavel Priluchny (Uncle Fyodor's father).

The film based on the story by Eduard Uspensky is now in theaters!

The project was created by the Andreasyan brothers' film company in partnership with Gazprom-Media Holding, Soyuzmultfilm, and the TNT television channel. The producers were Gevond and Sarik Andreasyan, Tina Kandelaki, Boris Khanchalyan, Arkady Vodakhov, Marina Razumova, and Yuliana Slashcheva.

Gazprom-Media Holding is summing up the results of 2025, which saw it strengthen its positions in key business segments. Its strategy, focused on technological development, high-quality content creation, and the implementation of its social mission, continues to deliver sustainable results.

RUTUBE consolidates digital assets The year 2025 for RUTUBE was marked by the consolidation of digital video platforms under the RUTUBE brand; the asset development team was united by the IT hub RUTUBE TECH. The total number of views for the year amounted to more than 50 billion – 3.5 times more than the previous year. The average viewing time is 46.1 minutes per day; the content library exceeds 430 million videos. According to Mediascope, the monthly audience has grown to 80.6 million users. The introduction of artificial intelligence technologies ensured an increase in engagement by 75%; the hybrid approach reduced video moderation time to four minutes. Cybersecurity systems demonstrate high stability and efficiency, constantly monitoring and analyzing all possible threats. Cyber risk management is one of the strategic priorities of digital assets, ensuring the reliability of Gazprom-Media Holding’s video services and the availability of content for users. The strategy of PREMIER, which has become part of the single umbrella brand RUTUBE, is based on partnerships and co-productions with TV channels and studios, which allows the production of high-quality content while optimizing costs. Among the most popular projects of this year are the comedy “Old School” about an old-school mathematics teacher (according to online cinemas, more than 30 million views on PREMIER and START), the military drama “Taganrog”, as well as the series “Overheard in Rybinsk”, which became the most successful launch in the history of the platform among the first seasons, produced by the film company 1-2-3 Production, which actively cooperates with television channels and leading streaming services. Mission: social projects and work with bloggers In 2025, Gazprom-Media Holding continued to consistently implement the PRO corporate responsibility program. Among the priorities are the production of socially significant content, information support for NGOs and charitable foundations, targeted assistance to SVO participants and their families, as well as care for the older generation. This year, the annual “Special Talents” competition, aimed at finding and supporting gifted children with special needs throughout Russia, received more than 4 thousand applications from 80 regions of our country and 6 regions of the Republic of Belarus. The TV-3 charity marathon “New Year’s Miracles” has helped 55 children over 10 years, collecting almost 80 million rubles. GPM Radio demonstrates a special strength in uniting the country. His all-Russian project “The Country Sings Katyusha!” on Victory Day covered 300 cities, turning into a nationwide event. A special role is given to the Insight People production center, which unites more than 2,700 bloggers in 89 regions of the country. This community has a direct conversation with the audience in the language of modern media, which was confirmed by the multi-format media marathon “Memory Card” for the 80th anniversary of the Victory. It combined the military drama “Platform 19/44” about child heroes, the documentary “Letter of Vera” about the feat of the home front, a series of videos and a touching music video “Dad, we are with you.” The Holding’s digital assets also implemented a number of inclusive and cultural projects: with the support of RUTUBE, popular animated series were adapted for hearing-impaired children, PREMIER implemented initiatives with the Pushkin Museum and charitable foundations.

Russian Cinema: National Stories' Success at the Box Office. This ongoing dialogue with millions of viewers is naturally reflected in big-screen cinema. The Holding's creative companies translate success into box office sales, demonstrating the power of national narratives. Of the nine blockbuster films, six were released by Central Partnership. "The Wizard of the Emerald City: The Yellow Brick Road" became the top-grossing film in Russia in 2025, grossing over 3.3 billion rubles. The biographical drama "The Prophet: The Story of Alexander Pushkin" surpassed the 1.6 billion ruble mark, while the folk comedy "Batya 2: Grandfather" and the film "August" grossed over 1.5 billion rubles. "Alice in Wonderland" and "Kraken" grossed over 1.2 billion rubles and 1.1 billion rubles, respectively*. These results are clear evidence that stories rooted in Russian cultural heritage resonate with audiences.

Going global: exporting content and meaning The holding is consistently strengthening the position of Russian content in the international arena. The geography of film distribution is wide – content is successfully acquired for the markets of Europe, the USA, Latin America, the Middle East and Asia. The Holding considers co-production to be the most promising direction – joint production with foreign partners, which allows you to create content that simultaneously meets the interests of both Russian and foreign audiences. The strategic focus is on the markets of Asia (China, India) and the Middle East (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Turkey), where there is significant audience growth, active government support for creative industries and demand for alternative Western content. As part of cooperation with the UAE, it is planned to expand the range of international projects, including feature films and TV series, as well as the creation of the Russian-Emirati Center for Creative Industries. In parallel, the Holding maintains active interaction with the CIS countries and explores opportunities for partnerships in Latin America – in Brazil, Argentina, Mexico and other countries in the region with a rich cinematic heritage.

Gazprom-Media Holding is summing up the results of its comprehensive corporate social responsibility program, "PRO," for 2025. The program, based on sustainable development principles, has demonstrated significant results and enabled the Holding to improve its position in social responsibility rankings.

Based on the 2025 results, Gazprom-Media Holding was ranked among Russian business leaders in social responsibility in Category A (Best Practice) in the national study "Leaders in Corporate Philanthropy." This reflects the systematic approach and effectiveness of our social programs and confirms the Gazprom-Media Holding team's contribution to achieving national goals and implementing national project objectives.

In 2025, Gazprom-Media Holding continued the consistent implementation of its PRO corporate responsibility program. Built around five key areas—PRO Assistance, PRO Participation, PRO Creation, PRO Support, and PRO Care—the program focuses on maximizing the Holding's media resources to address critical social issues. Priorities include the production of socially significant content, information support for NGOs and charitable foundations, targeted assistance to SVO participants and their families, and care for the elderly. Work in each area was conducted systematically, with the involvement of the expert community and partners, significantly enhancing the practical benefits of these initiatives.

In 2025, as part of the "PRO_Care" program, special film screenings were organized to support SVO participants. These screenings were attended by over 10,000 people, including SVO participants, their families and children, representatives of law enforcement agencies, the Burdenko Main Military Clinical Hospital, and representatives of the Yunarmiya movement. The Holding introduced over 3,000 children of SVO participants, as well as young people from the All-Russian Yunarmiya movement, to the media industry and organized tours of the Holding's companies. Volunteers from the Holding helped over 50 elderly people by participating in a charity delivery of hot meals in collaboration with the "Dari Edu" foundation.

The Oktyabr Cinema hosted the premiere of the feature documentary "In the Name of Peace on Earth" by director Mikhail Matrosov, as well as special screenings of "Catherine the Great," "Not on the Lists," and the war drama "August." Gathered in the cinema's main auditorium were members of the Special Military Forces, representatives of law enforcement agencies, doctors from military hospitals, members of the Young Army, students from military academies, conscripts, and schoolchildren.

Gazprom-Media Holding places special emphasis on supporting military personnel and their families, as well as the younger generation, leveraging its extensive media reach and implementing projects of significant social significance. The holding and its companies regularly host patriotic events as part of the PRO_Care project, including charity events, special film screenings, and meetings between young people, SVO members, and volunteers.

Gazprom-Media Holding congratulated veterans and participants of the Soviet Military District on the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Congratulations to veterans of the Great Patriotic War were held jointly with the Center for Patriotic Education and the Moscow Young Army members as part of the "Parade at the Veteran's Home" ceremony, held at the residences of Great Patriotic War veterans. Representatives of the Holding and the Young Army members congratulated Pyotr Fyodorovich Ivankov, Igor Nikolaevich Antipenko, and Semyon Yakovlevich Lyulko.

A congratulatory ceremony for the Special Military Operations (SVO) participants took place at the Moscow Military Enlistment Office, attended by its leadership. Representatives of the Holding also congratulated the veterans of the special military operation on the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and presented them with commemorative gifts. The event was held jointly with the Leningrad Frontier Foundation and was attended by the Military Commissioner of the Leningrad Region and representatives of the regional government and Legislative Assembly. Gazprom-Media Holding and the Fatherland Defenders Foundation have signed an agreement on joint work in promoting civic responsibility and patriotism. The document was signed by Gazprom-Media Holding CEO Alexander Zharov and the Foundation's Chairperson, Anna Tsivileva. Gazprom-Media Holding employees supported the participants of the Air Defense Forces by participating in a blood donation drive. Eighty people participated in the drive for military personnel undergoing treatment at the A.A. Vishnevsky National Research Center for High Medical Technologies. This pilot blood donation drive marked the beginning of a series of similar events across the Holding's assets. The drive is part of the Holding's social responsibility program, "PRO_Care," which unites charitable initiatives to support the families of Air Defense Forces participants and assist the elderly. The RUTUBE team systematically supports the development of media and the blogosphere in new regions, including by providing information on moderation and promotion on the platform. For example, the RUTUBE national video hosting team in Luhansk presented the "Poetry of Victory" project, created jointly with soldiers of the 98th Guards Airborne Division, and signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Ministry of Youth Policy of the LPR. The poems were read by the authors—SVO members from the 98th Airborne Division, as well as war correspondents and bloggers Maryana Naumova, Marina Onishchenko, and others. "Poetry of Victory" is a series of videos in which SVO members and bloggers read poems written by service members on the front lines. The first series of videos was prepared based on a collection of poems by service members of the 98th Airborne Division.

In March, a memorandum of cooperation was signed in Moscow between the Russian Military Historical Society, RUTUBE, and the Nikolai Danilevsky Film Studio. The document constitutes an agreement on informational, expert, and organizational cooperation in various fields.

The RUTUBE video service, in collaboration with the Imperial Orchestra, offered a unique experience for fans of the Harry Potter universe and admirers of the music of legendary Hollywood composer John Williams, whose melodies feature in the famous film adaptations.

As part of the PRO_Assistance program, designed to promote little-known foundations in the information space, the sponsored charitable foundations demonstrated high media activity, with many mentions received as a result of publications by the Holding and its assets. In 2025, between January 1 and December 10, 2,153 people were found.

The socially charged talk show "Beyond the Edge" has been airing on NTV since September 13, 2021. Over six hundred episodes have aired since then, including 147 in 2025. Each episode is more than just a number on the schedule, but a unique human destiny, a heart-wrenching story. In the "Beyond the Edge" studio, the show's protagonists share their pain, express surprise and admiration. People share the pain of loss with us and plead for help in achieving justice. The show's lawyers and psychologists always offer a helping hand to those facing lawlessness. Thousands of them also receive all the necessary medical care free of charge: they undergo examinations and expensive treatment, and the country's best surgeons have already performed 37 complex operations.

The socially charged talk show "DNA" has been airing on NTV since 2018, and in 2023 it celebrated its first anniversary—five years on air. This year, more than 150 episodes aired, and over 1,200 episodes in eight years. The program's protagonists are ordinary families for whom DNA testing is the only way to end bitter family disputes and reunite with loved ones they never knew existed. "DNA" gives children raised in orphanages or foster homes the opportunity to discover their biological parents, look them in the eye, and ask the ultimate question: "Why was I abandoned?" Mothers can establish paternity and hold those who persistently default on child support to account. And people who officially don't exist can prove they exist. Over the course of the program's existence, more than four thousand genetic tests have been conducted. Thanks to this, over a thousand families from 22 countries were finally reunited. The program's team proved that 47 families had had their children swapped and rescued five people from slavery. Anyone in difficult life situations can become a hero of the program and receive a free, expensive DNA test, performed by qualified geneticists from the most respected laboratories. The DNA test results, announced live in the studio, become the decisive argument, capable of ending family strife.

The guys also went on the main stage and took pictures near the jury chairs. This allowed the guys to better understand the specifics of working on television.
