Baku, October 29 /Xinhua/ — China may increase cargo traffic along the Middle Corridor (the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route) as it becomes more efficient and cost-effective, Azerbaijani logistics expert Rauf Agamirzayev recently stated in an interview with Xinhua.

According to the expert, in the current geopolitically complex environment, the Middle Corridor is particularly important for China. It is multimodal, and several additional routes will open in the coming years following the signing of the peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Tbilisi, October 29 (Xinhua) — Georgian airports recorded record figures in the first nine months of 2025: passenger traffic increased by 14 percent, and the number of flights by 18 percent, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Tamar Ioseliani announced on Wednesday.
