From December 8 to 11, 2025, the Nature Embassy Foundation held a comprehensive seminar, "Oil Spills: Impact, Consequence Management, and Psychological Preparation of Personnel," in Sochi and the Sirius Federal Territory. Representatives of the Utrish Nature Reserve and the Anapa Peresyp Nature Park outlined key factors that must be considered when assessing the vulnerability and protecting specially protected natural areas. A key section was a detailed algorithm for rescuing birds contaminated with oil products, from capture to setting up a rehabilitation center, presented by veterinarians from the Wildlife Hospital. The day concluded with a tour of the high-tech laboratories of the Sirius National Technical University, where participants were able to observe the development of a microbiological method for the disposal of oil products.

The third day was dedicated to developing "soft" skills, crucial during emergencies. Under the guidance of experienced mentors, participants explored external and internal communication strategies, volunteer management methods, and working with local communities. The culmination was a practical workshop, organized jointly with the press service of the Caucasus Nature Reserve, during which each participant recorded a mini-interview on a sensitive topic and received a professional on-camera analysis of their work.

The final day began with an inspiring excursion to the Caucasus National Park. Following this, professional psychologist Victoria Dmitrieva conducted a key training session on stress management, burnout prevention, and the ethics of interaction in emergency and crisis situations. The seminar concluded with a shared experience and a certificate presentation ceremony.

Representatives from the Polytechnic University visited the rear areas of the Special Military Operations (SMO). They delivered another batch of humanitarian aid and presented certificates of advanced training to the special operation participants, the first to complete training at the Polytechnic University in five different programs. The State University of Management held a Demo Day for the "Spectrum of Innovations" acceleration program, where the best projects were announced. RUDN University medical students won the International Festival of Student Science and High Art

RUDN University medical students won prizes and runners-up at the first International Festival of Student Science and High Art, held at Omsk State Medical University. The event, organized as part of the Decade of Science and Technology in the Russian Federation, was jointly hosted by the Omsk State Medical University's Department of Orthopedic Dentistry and our university's Department of Orthopedic Dentistry.

The festival's evening program introduced guests to the Omsk Symphony Orchestra, which performed works by P.I. Tchaikovsky, G.V. Sviridov, and A.P. Petrov. On the second day, a student research paper competition took place, where young researchers presented works reflecting contemporary trends in science and practice. "Some stages of the competition were a revelation for me: we were tested on our interdisciplinary thinking and creativity. The Prime Minister toured the center's production workshops and laboratories, spoke with students, and watched presentations on training in the secondary vocational education system.

The center houses a high-tech complex, including five workshops equipped with 69 machines, as well as three laboratories:

Workshop of lathes with numerical control. The equipment is distinguished by its versatility – it can efficiently perform all basic (roughing and finishing) turning operations: external turning, drilling, boring, cutting, threading.
Workshop of universal milling machines. The equipment allows for complex processing of parts with complex geometry, including milling, drilling, boring and other technological operations.
A workshop of universal lathes, the equipment of which allows students to gain practical skills on real production equipment, which significantly reduces the adaptation period when moving to work in industry.
A workshop of special machines with a materials science department, in which machines allow high-precision processing of various types and types of parts.
An area with a laser complex for high-speed cutting of sheet metals (part of the special machines workshop). Students hone their laser cutting skills for a variety of sheet materials up to 8mm thick with high precision. The work includes creating a control program that sets the trajectory of the laser and the intensity of its radiation, setting up equipment, subsequent cleaning and processing of manufactured semi-finished products.
