BEIJING, Aug. 14 (Xinhua) — The 15th China-Russia Culture and Art Fair, which kicked off on July 26 in Heihe City, Northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, will end on August 20 in the Russian city of Blagoveshchensk.
The event, first held in 2010, has become an important link between Chinese and Russian culture and art, as well as an important brand promoting cultural cooperation and exchanges between China and Russia, the Chinese newspaper Zhongguo Wenhuabao /Chinese Culture/ emphasizes.

On August 1, the Heihe city opened an exhibition of calligraphy and painting works as part of the fair, which featured 200 works by calligraphers and artists from all over China. The fair program also included a Chinese-Russian exhibition of paintings on the theme of winter and a thematic photo exhibition on the theme of ice patterns on the glass of frozen windows.
