Bishkek, September 18 (Xinhua) — Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov signed the law "On renaming the city of Jalal-Abad in the Jalal-Abad region of the Kyrgyz Republic to the city of Manas." This was stated in a statement published on the president's website on Wednesday.

According to the Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture Public Security Bureau, the accident occurred around 11:10 a.m. when a car crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with an SUV on a section of the expressway.

Thanks to the implementation of the "Infrastructure for Life" national project, over 1,500 buses and trams will be delivered to the constituent entities of the Russian Federation this year through the Ministry of Transport. In 2025, regions will purchase public transport rolling stock through subsidized, federally funded leasing programs for JSC GTLK and through comprehensive urban electric transport development projects under a concession model.

"Public transport is becoming an increasingly popular means of transportation every year. People choose it as faster and more economical. Systematic work is underway to improve public transportation, not only in large metropolitan areas but also in medium-sized and small towns and rural areas. A Transport Strategy has been developed and approved, under which approximately 33,000 units of new public transport are planned for delivery to Russian regions over the next six years. JERUSALEM, September 18 (Xinhua) — A gunman opened fire on Thursday near the Allenby Bridge, a key border crossing between Jordan and the Israeli-occupied West Bank.
