GUIYANG, Sept. 21 (Xinhua) — A suspected food poisoning incident occurred in Xishui County, Zunyi City, southwest China's Guizhou Province, leaving dozens of people, including children, hospitalized as of 2 p.m. Sunday.

Those hospitalized showed symptoms of liver and kidney dysfunction after consuming sandwiches produced by a local food factory. Belgrade, Sept. 21 (Xinhua) — Serbia showcased its military might on Saturday at the "Power of Unity" parade held in front of the Palace of Serbia to mark the Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom and National Flag.

KABUL, Sept. 21 (Xinhua) — Afghan officials have sharply rejected US threats to retake Bagram Air Base, stressing that any attempt to restore a foreign military presence will face decisive resistance.
