Beijing, September 21 (Xinhua) — China has expanded its list of rare diseases to 207 and included nearly 100 drugs for their treatment in the list of drugs covered by health insurance. This was announced at the 2025 China Conference on Rare Diseases, which concluded on Sunday.

Due to their low prevalence, small patient numbers, and high research costs, rare diseases have received little attention in the healthcare sector. Bishkek, September 21 (Xinhua) — The Bishkek Snow Leopard Run, a mass race, took place on Sunday at Ala-Too Square in the center of Kyrgyzstan's capital.
