Since 2020, the government commission has conducted approximately 1,400 tenders, awarding investors over 3,000 land plots with a total area of approximately 5,600 hectares. This creates potential for the construction of over 24 million square meters of real estate.

Particular attention is paid to integrated territorial development projects (ITD), which enable the renovation of residential areas in populated areas and the creation of a comfortable living environment with the necessary supporting infrastructure. Thus, following tenders since 2022, 771 land plots, totaling approximately 1,800 hectares with a potential development potential of over 10.4 million square meters, have been awarded under IDT projects.

Federal budget revenue from measures to put assets into circulation since 2020 has amounted to 114.2 billion rubles.

Rosneft has developed a program to preserve biodiversity in all regions of its operations.

Rosneft environmentalists have developed a standard corporate program for biodiversity conservation in all regions where the Company operates. The document was developed based on years of experience in biodiversity conservation research and projects, as well as a wealth of scientific data obtained during numerous environmental expeditions.

Experts from the A.N. Severtsov Institute of Ecology and Evolution of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Rosneft's Arctic Research Center, and the Company's research institute in Tyumen were involved in the research.

The program is the result of extensive work that resulted in the formation of a prioritized and comprehensive list of significant biological indicator species of marine and terrestrial mammals, birds, amphibians and reptiles, fish, terrestrial invertebrates, zooplankton and phytoplankton, and terrestrial plants. While working on the program, environmentalists compiled registers of specially protected natural areas in Russia that correspond to category 1a "Strict Nature Reserve" and category 1b "Wildlife Area" according to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) classification. Registers of mandatory and additional biodiversity conservation measures implemented in 2018–2022 in the Company's regions of operation were also compiled.

The program takes into account the requirements and recommendations of Russian legislation in the field of biodiversity conservation, as well as the provisions of the Kunming-Montreal Global Framework Program and other international agreements, as well as the recommendations of international industry associations of oil and gas producers.

The document also includes a standard template for a biodiversity conservation program for subsidiaries. A pilot test is planned for a number of companies. Based on the results of the pilot project, it is planned to approve a unified standard program for the Company's biodiversity conservation, which will take into account the specifics of the region, the type of activity, and other criteria of the subsidiaries. This will significantly contribute to supporting national environmental projects.

Preservation and restoration of ecosystems and the implementation of biodiversity conservation programs are among Rosneft's strategic environmental goals.

Rosneft is implementing the largest Arctic flora and fauna study program since Soviet times. Over 13 years, more than 60 expeditions have been conducted, covering all Arctic seas, islands, and coastlines. During the course of the study, habitats were thoroughly explored and over 400 animals were examined, 140 individuals were tagged with satellite transmitters, and over 1,500 laboratory analyses were performed on collected biological samples.

Rosneft supports the Amur Tiger Center's efforts to increase the Amur tiger population and protect the environment within the predator's habitat. The Company's funds are being used to develop a comprehensive Amur tiger conservation system, including outside specially protected natural areas, equipping hunting control teams with modern technology and equipment to combat poaching, prey conservation, and the reduction of human-tiger conflicts. The project also includes population monitoring and scientific research on the largest cat on Earth, as well as outreach and educational activities. These joint efforts have helped increase the Amur tiger population, which currently exceeds 750 individuals, ensuring the conservation of this unique animal.

Rosneft subsidiaries also implement various conservation projects to study key flora and fauna species in the regions where they operate. In the Far East, 80 Steller's sea eagle nesting sites were discovered during the "Under a Strong Wing" project. The project aims to restore and preserve the population of this bird species. With the Company's support, specialists from the Central Siberian State Nature Reserve in Evenkia studied musk deer habitats. The possibility of establishing a farm for breeding this animal, which is listed in the Red Data Book of several Russian regions and the IUCN Red List as vulnerable, is also being explored.

For 27 years, a monitoring program for the Okhotsk Sea population of gray whales, a rare, endangered species of marine mammal found in the northern Pacific Ocean, has been implemented in the Sakhalin Region.

Istanbul, October 21 (Xinhua) — Turkish security forces detained 19 suspected Islamic State (IS) members on Tuesday during a large-scale counterterrorism operation, local authorities said.

According to the provincial police department, counterterrorism units conducted simultaneous raids in 25 towns and villages in the southern province of Adana. The raids followed 10 months of remote technical surveillance and physical surveillance of two separate groups suspected of operating on behalf of ISIS.

A preliminary investigation revealed that some of those detained were involved in armed attacks, workplace shootings, and other acts committed in the name of ISIS, state broadcaster TRT reported.

BEIJING, Oct. 21 (Xinhua) — China is expanding its network of intellectual property (IP) rights protection centers, approving the establishment of a new national-level center in Dongguan, south China's Guangdong Province, the National Intellectual Property Administration (NIPA) said Tuesday.

The new center will facilitate rapid and coordinated work on IP protection for innovators in the smart terminals and new materials industries.

According to the GUIS, with the establishment of the new institution, the number of IP protection centers at the national level across the country has reached 81, of which seven are located in Guangdong Province.

The centres were established in key locations, including the provincial capital of Guangzhou and the city of Shenzhen, known as an innovation hub.

As a manufacturing hub, Dongguan, with a permanent population of over 10 million, has a GRP of over 1 trillion yuan (approximately US$141 billion), and boasts strong performance in scientific and technological innovation.

Once completed, the aforementioned center in Dongguan will function as a one-stop platform for consolidating IP protection service resources, promoting the integration of the innovation chain and industrial chain, according to a press release issued by the GUIS.
