The 11th All-Russian Prize "For Loyalty to Science" award ceremony is taking place in Moscow. Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko delivered a message of greetings from President Vladimir Putin.
"This prestigious award rightfully enjoys high public recognition and, for over 10 years, has been presented to educators, journalists, and cultural figures whose enthusiasm, dedicated, and sought-after work make a significant contribution to popularizing the achievements of Russian science and its remarkable traditions, and who do much to foster youth interest in bold scientific inquiry, fundamental, and applied research. After all, breakthrough knowledge and modern technologies are the most important resource for Russia's socioeconomic development, strengthening its sovereignty in all spheres, and determining people's quality of life," Vladimir Putin noted.
Dmitry Chernyshenko also presented an award to the winner in the Digital Content Author category, Vladislav Vulfovich.
"The Decade of Science and Technology is currently underway in Russia, at the behest of President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. The award is one of the highlights of this Decade's events. It's gratifying that these efforts are yielding results. We see that, according to sociologists' surveys, 64% of parents want their children to connect their futures with science, education, and technology. And parents wouldn't wish anything bad on their children. Everything will work out for us, good luck!" the Deputy Prime Minister said.
The show "Science for Everyone," launched as part of the national project "Science and Universities," won the best project in this category. In each episode, popular artists and bloggers, with the help of young scientists, explore scientific theories and convey their essence in simple language.
"Our mission is simple: if at least one child, after watching our project, wants to become a scientist and does, then everything we've done has been worth it. This is a reward for us all," said the winner, General Producer Vladislav Vulfovich.
The "For Loyalty to Science" awards are presented to journalists, bloggers, and science popularizers who, among other things, help enhance the prestige of the scientific profession and attract new talent to the field for the country's technological leadership. This year, more than 2,000 applications from 81 regions of Russia were submitted to this large-scale competition.
The "Digital Content Author" nomination was among the top three most popular in 2025, with "Science for Children" and "Science Press Service of the Year" also among the most popular nominations.
The award is organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.
