The anniversary 20th Rosneft Summer Sports Games concluded in Sochi. Twenty of the strongest teams from the Company's subsidiaries across the country, all of whom had successfully passed the qualifying rounds, competed at the Olympic stadiums.

Over the course of four days, oil industry athletes competed for the title of the strongest in 18 team and individual events. Verkhnechonskneftegaz, a subsidiary of Rosneft's oil and gas production complex, continues to restore forests in the Irkutsk region.

In 2025, the company planted over 1 million Siberian pine seedlings on 540 hectares in the Irkutsk and Kirov forestries, which are part of the Baikal Natural Territory, as well as in the Kuytinsky forestry in the Irkutsk Region. Specialists at Rosneft's research institute in Tyumen have developed RN-AutoBalance software, based on neural network modeling technology. This innovative software automatically calculates optimal well operating modes without human intervention, thereby improving the efficiency of mature oil field development.

The neural network algorithms built into RN-AutoBalance analyze the dynamics of process indicators, identify the relationship between production and injection wells, and redistribute injection to those wells that produce the greatest effect.

The software was successfully tested at the Malyk field in the Uvatsky District of the Tyumen Region, where RN-Uvatneftegaz (a Rosneft production asset) produces. Over three months of pilot operations, RN-AvtoBalans optimized the operating modes of 46 injection wells. Total water injection volumes were reduced by 222,000 cubic meters, and oil production increased by 4%.

RN-Avtobalans will be integrated into the RN-KIN corporate software and replicated at other Rosneft fields.

Based on the constructed model, 17 geological and engineering interventions were planned, resulting in additional oil production of over 20,000 tons.

Specialists from Rosneft's Tyumen Research Center have proposed a comprehensive approach to using core data to improve the reliability of petrophysical parameter determination and production forecasting in complex fractured reservoirs. The solution aims to identify the most productive areas and improve the efficiency of oil field development in carbonate formations.

The final competitions of the 20th Rosneft Summer Sports Games have begun in Sochi. The sporting event will run until September 26, with oil industry athletes representing 20 of the Company's strongest teams from across Russia participating.

Specialists from the Rosneft Research Institute in Ufa have developed digital information models for ROSPAN INTERNATIONAL gas fields using the RN-KIN corporate software package.

Samotlorneftegaz (part of Rosneft) held a festival of ethnic culture of the indigenous peoples of the North in the Nizhnevartovsk district of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. More than 500 representatives of various ethnic groups living and working in the region participated in the large-scale event.
