Almaty, August 20 /Xinhua/ — The information being spread about the alleged ban on the use of foreign messengers /WhatsApp, Telegram, etc./ is not true. This was reported on Wednesday on the website of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The agency emphasized that the initiative to introduce the domestic messenger Aitu concerns exclusively official communications in central and local government agencies. It is necessary so that civil servants can safely exchange information intended exclusively for official use, which will increase the level of information security and make the transition to a secure digital environment.

According to the Ministry of Digital Development, Aitu will become the main tool for correspondence on official matters, work chats, operational notifications and interaction with state digital platforms. Its advantage is that all servers are located on the territory of Kazakhstan, which meets data protection requirements and makes the system more reliable for government agencies.

“Aitu does not replace or ‘interfere’ with foreign messengers in the personal lives of citizens, but only provides a secure channel for work processes in the public sector,” the agency added. –0–

The team from the State University of Management took part in the project-based educational intensive course “Archipelago 2025”, which took place from August 7 to 17, 2025, on the territory of the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, and, based on the results of the training, entered the top 25 among representatives of Russian universities.

Representatives of the State University of Management were included in the “Acceleration School” track, during which, over the course of 9 days, more than 70 university teams worked on a draft strategy for developing acceleration programs for their universities.

SUM acceleration programs are special educational projects aimed at accelerated development of students', young professionals' and entrepreneurs' competencies in various areas of business, technology and innovation. Such programs provide participants with the opportunity to quickly immerse themselves in relevant topics, acquire practical skills and experience necessary for a successful startup or career growth.

The main goals of the acceleration programs of the State University of Management include: 1. Development of entrepreneurial skills: training in the basics of running a business, strategic planning, financial analysis and marketing; 2. Formation of innovative solutions: stimulating participants to create new products and services, solving real business problems; 3. Increasing competitiveness: preparing graduates for work in a rapidly changing labor market and economy; 4. Creation of a startup ecosystem: support for projects at early stages of development, including mentoring, access to resources and investors.

The following took part in the Acceleration School: Director of the Center for Prospective Development Tatyana Gordeeva, Director of the Department of Academic Policy and Implementation of Educational Programs Natalia Starkova, Leading Specialist of the Department of Academic Policy and Implementation of Educational Programs Olga Gatilova, as well as a representative of the partner company, Head of the Center for Project Entrepreneurship LLC IPI-Lab Olga Barannikova.

During the training, the participants conducted an in-depth study of the key components of acceleration programs, identifying problems and finding tools to solve them. Every day there were lectures, group work, defense of developed projects in the pitch format, as well as "mentor lounges" where experts gave feedback on projects and answered questions of concern to the audience.

"The high intensity of work throughout all the days allowed us to deeply immerse ourselves in the process, identify new meanings and approaches that will become the basis for future acceleration programs of the State University of Management. The development of technological entrepreneurship in the context of state national projects is today becoming a priority and significant area that helps to unlock the potential of students and create an innovative environment at the university," noted the participants of the GUU ProTech team.

Let us recall that young scientists from the State University of Management also took part in the intensive course “Archipelago 2025”.

The results of the All-Russian competition of the best practices of volunteer and public activities in Russian universities have been summed up. The State University of Management was among the winners.

The aim of the competition is to identify and support best practices in engaging students in volunteering and community service, as well as to recognise mentors and teams who help young people realise their potential.

The competition is being implemented within the framework of the national project “Youth and Children” and the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 309 of May 7, 2024 on national development goals for 2030–2036.

An expert commission was responsible for the honesty and high level of evaluation, which included: – representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia; – leaders of the largest volunteer and volunteer organizations; – representatives of federal and regional departments; – activists of student associations.

The State University of Management took 2nd place among the best practices in implementing the Service Learning program.

The unique educational methodology "Service Learning" has been implemented at the State University of Management since September 2023. Our university was among the first 20 Moscow universities where this program was launched in pilot mode. To date, 452 students and 28 social partners have been involved in the program, developing 67 socially significant projects and bringing good to over 10,000 beneficiaries.

The vice-rector responsible for the implementation of the program at the State University of Management, Pavel Pavlovsky, spoke about the principles of its work.

"GUU was one of the first universities to launch the Service Learning project. And we quickly realized that the State University of Management is a great platform for organizing inter-university projects. One of these is being implemented jointly with the Russian State Agrarian University – Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K.A. Timiryazev – we inspect cars for large families and give them competent recommendations. Specifically, our students, for example, held sports events for hearing-impaired children. That is, we work both directly on the profile of the federal program and offer platform solutions – this helps us achieve high results. To encourage participation and involvement in the work of the program, competitions with prizes and gifts are held. Not only students, but also students of the Pre-University of GUU participate in the implementation of projects, which makes our experience unique."

The All-Russian competition of the best practices of volunteer and social activities was held in a pilot format, but has already proven that Russian universities have incredible energy, ideas and people who are ready to change the world around them. Now it will become an annual event!

In December, the winners will present their projects at the International Forum on Civic Participation

The list of winners and finalists is in the cards.

As part of the corporate program "Good Deeds Platform", Rosneft volunteers organized an excursion to the Moscow Zoo for 75 children from new regions. On the eve of Knowledge Day, many of them visited the zoo for the first time and were able to see the heroes of biology textbooks in real life.

The excursion route ran through the old territory of the zoo. The children saw a large panda, a Himalayan bear, a Far Eastern leopard, a reindeer, seals, an Asian elephant, Humboldt penguins, a puma, a lynx, a llama and many other animals. The zoo staff shared details about the peculiarities of caring for wild animals, their habits and diet, as well as the professions needed at the zoo. In total, more than a thousand different species of animals live in the Moscow Zoo, many of which the children saw for the first time.

The young visitors were especially interested in the polar bears Aika and Terpey, who are under the care of Rosneft. The children were told that Aika is the first polar bear in more than 30 years to be born in the Rostov-on-Don Zoo. She was transported to Moscow in 2023 at the age of three. Aika greeted guests with a walk around a spacious enclosure, and then dived into a pool with toys.

Preservation and protection of the polar bear population is one of the main areas of Rosneft's environmental program. Currently, the Company patronizes 35 polar bears in 16 zoos in the country, providing them with maintenance, feeding, veterinary support, as well as updating enclosures, conducting scientific research and educational programs.

With the support of the Company, special toys have been developed to increase the physical activity of animals. In addition, Rosneft is implementing a program to rescue and rehabilitate young polar bears left in the wild without the care of their mother.

Volunteering is an important element of Rosneft's corporate culture. The Company implements the Good Deeds Platform program, within the framework of which employees provide assistance to families and children in difficult life situations, provide targeted assistance to veterans, and also conduct patriotic, environmental education and other events.
