The capital has begun accepting applications for a new stream of the educational program "Venture Academy". This is a practice-oriented course, which is conducted by the Moscow Innovation Cluster (MIC) foundation in partnership with the Moscow Venture Fund (MVF). The program is designed for entrepreneurs, beginning investors, top managers and analysts who want to gain practical skills in the venture market.

The training provides a systematic understanding of the basics of venture investment, as well as the necessary knowledge and tools for assessing the prospects of startups and reducing risks. The course is held in a combined format: online and offline.

The theoretical part is available on the platform I. Moskov and is a series of video lessons devoted to types of investment instruments, investment models, market regulation and startup evaluation methods. Participants who successfully pass the final test will gain access to the practical module.

The practical part of the program is divided into the modules “Venture Analytics” and “Venture Deal”.

The first will be of interest to analysts who plan to work in venture funds. Participants will take master classes and receive consultations from mentors, master the skills of searching and selecting technology projects, investment analysis of startups, working with portfolio company metrics and analyzing real cases. Upon completion of the module, the best graduates of the program will have the opportunity to get an internship at the country's leading venture funds.

The Venture Deal module is aimed at beginning investors. Here, participants learn together with experts how to verify financial and business models of startups, and also get the opportunity to join a real syndicated deal.

Over the course of the program's existence, its graduates have invested over 500 million rubles in promising companies. Thus, investors in the third stream invested over eight million rubles in the development of a platform for integrated logistics services for marketplaces, and students in the fourth stream invested about 11 million rubles in the production of new-generation vending machines. This deal was the largest in the history of the program and allowed the company to scale up production and expand its network in Moscow. More than 50 investors in subsequent streams jointly invested 5.5 million rubles in a marketing platform for promoting products through bloggers, and over 20 participants in the 10th stream invested 3.3 million rubles in a startup developing functional healthy drinks.

Since 2024, the program has been actively scaling up with the support of regional development institutions and Sber. Five programs have been conducted, covering a total of 41 subjects of the Russian Federation. More than 550 regional representatives became interested in venture investing, of which over 200 successfully completed the training. In August 2025, applications were accepted for participants from Yakutia and the Far East — thus, the program covered the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District.

To become a participant in the new stream of the Venture Academy program, you must submit application until October 15 on the i.moscow platform.

As a result of their implementation, new sports grounds were built in the capital, sections were opened and infrastructure for pets was reconstructed. In total, more than 62.7 thousand residents took part in the projects.

"A Million Prizes"

Two more topics for submitting ideas are dedicated to the development of the program "A Million Prizes". They consider citizens' initiatives to improve the site for the convenience of users. Among those implemented is the creation of a separate category "Active Citizen for Children", where products and services that can be obtained using children's points are displayed. A new feature has appeared – adding your favorite rewards to the section "Favorites". In addition, in the reward cards in the reviews you can now attach a photo of the received souvenir so that other users can learn more about it.

The replenishment of the website showcase with new incentives also takes into account the wishes of city residents left on the City of Ideas platform. KHABAROVSK, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) — A photo exhibition titled "Shoulder to Shoulder – Towards a Common Victory" dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War opened at the Platinum Arena in the Russian city of Khabarovsk on Tuesday.

The exhibition features 60 valuable historical photographs from the Xinhua News Agency, reflecting the glorious history of the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the joint struggle of the Chinese and Soviet peoples against fascism and militarism. The event was attended by more than 400 representatives of the general public of the Khabarovsk Territory of Russia.

A large section of the exhibition is dedicated to the participation of Soviet volunteer pilots in the war against the Japanese invaders in China. From 1937 to 1941, over 2,000 Soviet soldiers took part in battles in the Chinese skies, and many of them gave their young lives. Among them was the commander of a squadron of Soviet bombers, Grigory Kulishenko. On October 14, 1939, he died in battle over Wuhan, when he was only 36 years old. A photo portrait of the hero is presented at the exhibition.

In addition, there are photographs dedicated to preserving the memory of the events of those years and the heroes. They show the visit of Soviet leaders to the memorial to the fallen pilots in Wuhan, the laying of flowers by the descendants of the heroic pilots, and touching meetings of Chinese and Russian veterans.

Many visitors were moved to tears. They said that through the photographs, they deeply felt the suffering and indomitable spirit of the Chinese people in the war of resistance. Preserving the memory of history and preserving peace for the future of humanity was the general sentiment that emerged among the visitors.

At the opening of the exhibition, the Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Khabarovsk, Jiang Xiaoyang, recalled that the leaders of China and Russia had reached an important consensus on mutual support in holding events in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in World War II and in jointly defending its results. According to the Consul General, organizing a photo exhibition in Khabarovsk at a time when the leaders of the two countries are meeting in Beijing is of particular importance. "We highly appreciate the significant contribution of the peoples of China and Russia to the victory in the World Anti-Fascist War," Jiang Xiaoyang said.

Attaché of the Russian Foreign Ministry's representative office in Khabarovsk Andrei Sivolob noted in an interview with Xinhua that September 3 is the day of the defeat of militaristic Japan and the end of World War II, which led to a huge number of victims in both China and the Soviet Union. The two countries steadfastly withstood the trials, defeating the world's evil, the diplomat said, adding that the presented photographs are of historical significance and once again show the strong friendship between the Russian and Chinese peoples, who stand shoulder to shoulder and help each other in any challenges.

Maxim Kazakov, deputy chairman of the Khabarovsk branch of the Russian-Chinese Friendship Society (RCFS), spoke in an interview with Xinhua about the importance of preserving historical memory. “We remember the contribution made by the Chinese people, we remember the feats of our fathers and grandfathers who fought heroically,” he said. “We are connected by a common history, we are connected by common victories, so I believe that holding events like this photo exhibition is extremely important.”

The exhibition was organized by the Xinhua Asian-European Bureau and China lmage Group with the participation of the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Khabarovsk and the Khabarovsk branch of the ORCD. The event is held with the support of the Khabarovsk Krai Government and the Russian Foreign Ministry Representative Office in Khabarovsk.

From September 3, the photo exhibition will continue at the Pacific State University in Khabarovsk. –0–
