An important disclaimer is at the bottom of this article.

More than 50 thousand people visited the exhibition "Far East Street", which was opened as part of the tenth, anniversary Eastern Economic Forum from September 3 to 9. The exhibition was organized by the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Russia in the Far Eastern Federal District.

"The Far East Street exhibition has become a traditional part of the Eastern Economic Forum. It is visited by EEF participants and guests, residents of Vladivostok, and tourists. Every year, interest in the exhibition is growing. At one site, the pavilions of the Far Eastern regions show what they are proud of, talk about investment projects, invite people on tourist trips to see natural beauty and cultural sites, and demonstrate bright performances by creative groups. Based on the results of the exhibition, we evaluate the work of the pavilions and choose the three best. This is always a tough competitive struggle. Each region tries to ensure that its pavilion is among the winners. Far East Street was created so that visitors could learn as much as possible about how the Far East lives and where it is striving, so that it would become a little closer. I am sure that many people who visited the exhibition will want to come and see the Far Eastern regions," said Deputy Prime Minister – Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Eastern Economic Forum Yuri Trutnev.

The exhibition featured displays dedicated to the main achievements, investment potential and cultural features of 11 regions of the Far East. In particular, the exhibition guests learned about the development of border agglomerations, tourist destinations, master plans for Far Eastern cities, and the work of industrial enterprises.

"The development of the Far East largely depends on the expansion of its tourism and investment potential. "Far East Street" contributes to solving this problem year after year, enjoying great interest among the participants of the EEF, residents and guests of Primorsky Krai. The exhibition demonstrates the unique cultural and natural wealth of the Russian Far East to guests from dozens of countries around the world, revealing the potential of the macro-region and generating interest in it both abroad and within the country," emphasized Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the President, Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee for the Preparation and Holding of the EEF.

As part of the opening of the "Far East Street", a ceremonial procession with a large 150 m long St. George ribbon was held along the FEFU embankment to the main stage of the exhibition. During the ceremony, the honor guard of the Pacific Higher Naval School named after S.O. Makarov brought the flag of the Russian Federation and the Victory Banner to the site, accompanied by the pop orchestra of the Moscow State University named after G.I. Nevelskoy.

One of the main themes of this year was the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Each region integrated elements related to the Victory anniversary into its program. For example, the Magadan Region presented the "Kolyma – from Victory to Victory" zone dedicated to the historical legacy – the role of Kolyma in the Victory and its contribution to ensuring the country's success during the special military operation. And the Amur Region showed an interactive stand with unique historical materials, photographs and memories of veterans.

Also, the exhibition guests were welcomed by the exposition of the Ministry of Sports, a joint pavilion of the Ministry for the Development of the Far East and Arctic and the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and Arctic "Developing the Far" and two large stands of the "Voin" center. Primorsky Krai separately organized the work of the Fish Market.

In addition, the exhibition area included the "House of Falcons", where guests and participants of the forum could learn more about the birds of the falcon family: their habitats, behavioral characteristics, threats to the population, and measures taken by the state to preserve these predators. A separate exhibition, the "Arab Village", was organized at the exhibition, timed to coincide with the third international forum "Day of the Falcon".

The 10th Eastern Economic Forum was held on September 3–6 at the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok. The EEF was organized by the Roscongress Foundation.

Dmitry Chernyshenko met with teachers and students of the branches of Moscow State University and MGIMO in Kazakhstan

During his working visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Chernyshenko assessed the infrastructure of the branches of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) and the Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU), and also talked to their management, teachers and students. The MGIMO branch received a license and accepted its first 100 students in the new academic year.

"As President Vladimir Putin says, our countries are united by a common history and a huge number of ties at the interpersonal and humanitarian level. Russia is a reliable economic and political partner of Kazakhstan. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also emphasized that for Kazakhstan, Russia is the main strategic partner and reliable ally. Our task is to develop together. Our two nations have overcome many difficulties and have repeatedly lent each other a fraternal shoulder," the Russian Deputy Prime Minister noted.

The Deputy Prime Minister called Moscow State University and MGIMO world-class brands and noted the contribution of employees of the Kazakhstani branches to their development.

"Today, about 4,000 students study in Kazakhstan in 8 branches of leading Russian universities, including two flagships – Moscow State University and MGIMO. Moreover, Moscow State University has been operating for a quarter of a century, and the branch of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations recently received a license. This is not just an educational institution, but an intellectual platform where the elite of diplomatic and scientific thought is formed. This academic year, the branch accepted its first 100 students," he added.

Dmitry Chernyshenko congratulated the students on the beginning of the new academic year and also thanked the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan for providing conditions to jointly help young people gain knowledge and build the future of the two countries.

He also spoke about joint projects in the field of youth policy.

"We are developing cooperation in the youth sphere. This year alone, the calendar includes more than 30 joint events of various formats. Right now, guys from Kazakhstan are participating in the youth educational forum "BeregA" in Astrakhan, and in a week they will come to Nizhny Novgorod for the World Youth Festival meeting," said Dmitry Chernyshenko.

According to him, last year almost 300 children from Kazakhstan took part in the gathering in Sirius. The Deputy Prime Minister also mentioned cooperation in the development of the volunteer movement and invited volunteers to the forum "We are together" in Moscow in December.

Students asked questions about whether artificial intelligence poses a threat, what potential youth laboratories have, and whether foreign branches of Russian universities will continue to train bachelors and masters.

"Today, the higher education system in Russia is undergoing a transformation. Branches of Russian universities, since they teach according to our programs, will also switch to this new model," the Deputy Prime Minister responded.

He recalled that the new model is based on fundamentality and practical orientation, and also emphasized that it is important to take into account the needs of foreign students and resolve issues of mutual recognition of higher education with foreign countries.

In addition, second-year student of the Philology program Anna Ketsko said that students of the Kazakhstan branch of Moscow State University wrote and published "Books of Memory about the War", which received high praise, including from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The third edition of the book was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory and was published in 2025. The student asked the Deputy Prime Minister about the idea of initiating the publication of the Eurasian "Book of Memory about the War" together with other branches of Moscow State University.

Dmitry Chernyshenko supported the initiative and noted that this year, the national project “Youth and Children” was launched in Russia, which is aimed, among other things, at patriotic education and historical enlightenment.

Marat Khusnullin: More than 1 million square meters of private homes are being built using escrow accounts

Translation. Region: Russian Federal

Source: Government of the Russian Federation – Government of the Russian Federation –

An important disclaimer is at the bottom of this article.

Large-scale work on the transition of private housing construction to safe financing mechanisms continues in Russia. Since March 1 of this year, construction of more than 1 million square meters of individual housing has begun using escrow accounts. The new payment system has become possible due to the entry into force of a law regulating the specifics of interaction between all participants in the process. This was reported by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.

"Work on developing individual housing construction helps make the process of building your own home more accessible, simple and technological, thereby opening up new opportunities for Russians to improve their living conditions. The introduction of the escrow account mechanism dramatically increases the level of protection of citizens' funds and gives the market a new impetus for growth. We see a high demand for this tool and people's trust in it. Since March 1, more than 9,000 private houses with an area of about 1 million square meters have been built using escrow accounts. Another important advantage is the speed of construction: the average construction time for a typical house with an area of more than 100 square meters today is about 7 months. Our task is not only to maintain the pace of development of individual housing construction, but also to provide the territories with all the necessary infrastructure – engineering, social, transport," said Marat Khusnullin.

More than 5.5 thousand construction organizations ready to work according to the new standards have already registered on the unified online platform stroim.dom.rf. This gives citizens a wide choice of contractors. The number of companies that have already begun practical work on the construction of private houses using escrow accounts has exceeded 2.5 thousand, which is 7 times more than at the beginning of March 2025.

"The private housing construction segment is currently undergoing a stage of qualitative transformation. The introduction of the escrow mechanism reduces people's financial risks, and opens up access to preferential financing instruments for contractors," noted Vitaly Mutko, CEO of DOM.RF.

An additional incentive for the growth of the individual housing construction segment was the issuance of preferential loans under the subsidy program from DOM.RF, launched to support contractors working using the escrow mechanism. Under the program, which is valid until the end of 2025, contractors can receive preferential loans at a rate of 1% per annum. To date, banks have provided 23.6 billion rubles in targeted financing for the construction of private houses with an area of more than 578 thousand square meters using the escrow account mechanism.
