Belgrade is one of the oldest cities in Europe, located at the picturesque confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers. It is a welcoming city with a unique character, where Austro-Hungarian architecture juxtaposes the heritage of socialist Yugoslavia, and Roman ruins juxtapose with Ottoman-era monuments.
Novi Sad is the second largest city in Serbia and has been dubbed the “Serbian Athens” for its rich cultural heritage and lively atmosphere. A walk through the old town and the powerful Petrovaradin Fortress will give you vivid impressions of visiting the real “pearl of the Danube”.
Smederevo is a city at the confluence of the Danube and the Great Morava, where one of the most significant monuments of Serbian national history is located – the Smeredevo Fortress. A walk through its territory allows you to literally touch history, and from the ramparts you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Danube and its opposite bank.
Golubac is one of the most picturesque and memorable stops on the Danube route. Approaching the medieval fortress by water, as if growing out of the rocks above the Danube, is an unforgettable sight.
Kladovo is the eastern gate to the majestic Djerdap Gorge (Iron Gate), one of the main natural attractions of Europe. Passing through the gorge is always the highlight of any Danube cruise, when one of the most stunning panoramas in all of Europe opens up from the deck of the ship.
Veliko Gradiste is the starting point for an excursion to Viminacium, taking you back 2000 years to when the Danube was the northern border of the Roman Empire. Among the thermal baths, residential buildings and unique artifacts, ancient history comes to life before your eyes.

Meeting at the airport of guests arriving on the recommended flight: Air Serbia JU-131, departure from Moscow (Sheremetyevo, SVO) on March 25, 2026 at 14:00, arrival on March 25, 2026 in Belgrade (Nikola Tesla, BEG) at 15:15.
Transfer from the airport to the River Sapphire.

Day 2
Belgrade – March 26
Breakfast on board. A sightseeing bus tour of the city, including a visit to the Church of Saint Sava. One of the largest Orthodox churches in the world, it was built in honor of Saint Sava, the first Serbian archbishop and national hero of Serbia.

Day 3
Novi Sad – March 27
Breakfast on board. A bus excursion to the Kovilj Monastery and a walking tour of Novi Sad, one of Serbia's most beautiful cities, including the historic center and the Petrovaradin Fortress, known as the "Gibraltar on the Danube." Its walls and towers offer panoramic views of Novi Sad and the river.

Day 4
Smederevo – March 28
Breakfast on board. A walking tour of the city includes a visit to Smederevo Fortress, a powerful defensive fortification built on the banks of the Danube in the 15th century. Here, you'll journey back to the Serbian Middle Ages.

Golubac – March 29
Breakfast on board. Visit the legendary Golubac Fortress, one of the most spectacular on the Danube, and the unique archaeological complex of Lepenski Vir, where traces of one of Europe's most ancient civilizations have been preserved.

Kladovo – March 30
Breakfast on board. Free time to explore the city.
Lunch on board. A scenic cruise through the Iron Gates Gorge, during which you'll admire the breathtaking views of the rocky shores.

Arrival in Veliko Gradište. Breakfast on board.
A bus tour to Viminacium, an archaeological park that once housed a major Roman city and military camp. You'll see ancient streets, mausoleums, and unique finds, including the remains of a mammoth.

Belgrade – April 1
End of the cruise. Breakfast on board, check-out.
Transfer to Belgrade International Airport in time for the departure of the recommended flight: Air Serbia JU-134, departure on 01.04.2026 from Belgrade (Nikola Tesla, BEG) at 17:05, arrival on 01.04.2026 in Moscow (Sheremetyevo, SVO) at 21:10.
About the River Sapphire:
The journey along the Danube will take place on a modern and comfortable motor ship, accommodating up to 164 passengers.
The bright interiors of the cabins and public spaces, the panoramic restaurant and lounge, and the spacious lobby with a glass dome extending over two decks create a relaxing and cozy atmosphere onboard. Almost all cabins feature French balconies, providing unobstructed views and stunning views of the surrounding area.
The sun deck is perfect for relaxing in the fresh air. Here, while comfortably lounging in a sun lounger, you can admire the changing river scenery.
