Vladivostok, October 16 (Xinhua) — A bus carrying employees of a local company overturned in the Amur Region on Thursday. According to regional police, there were 48 people on board.

“It has been preliminarily established that a bus belonging to one of the enterprises overturned as a result of a collision with a passenger car,” the statement said.

The accident occurred in the Svobodnensky District. Traffic police officers and the investigative task force of the Svobodnensky District Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, as well as the head of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Amur Region Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, are working at the scene.

Shanghai, October 16 (Xinhua) — On Wednesday, China's General Administration of Customs (GAC) signed documents granting market access to 15 categories of food products from 10 countries, including South Africa and Belarus. This move will allow more food products from countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative to reach Chinese consumers more quickly.

This was announced at a conference on customs cooperation in food safety within the Belt and Road Initiative, which took place in Shanghai on Wednesday. More than 100 participants from China and other Belt and Road Initiative countries attended.

Enhe Village, located in Enhe Russian Ethnic Township, Ergun City, Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is nestled deep in a primeval forest in the northern Greater Khingan Region, on the banks of the Haur River. It covers an area of approximately 1,500 mu (15 mu = 1 hectare). The permanent population is over 1,000. The village boasts well-preserved traditional houses known as "Mukelen" (Russian wooden huts).

In recent years, local authorities have been actively developing tourism and specialized industries, combining traditional Russian songs and dances with harvest celebrations. Tourists stay in wooden huts, learn to bake traditional Russian bread, and participate in festive events celebrating the bountiful harvest. Chongqing, Oct. 16 (Xinhua) — Four trucks loaded with electronics departed from the Xiyong Bonded Industrial Zone in southwest China's Chongqing on Wednesday for Almaty under the TIR (Travel International Road) system.

This event marked the beginning of the operation of the Chongqing-Central Asia freight road route within the above-mentioned system.

The trucks will cross the Chinese border through the Khorgos border crossing point in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, northwest China. The entire journey is expected to take approximately 4.5 days, which is almost 30 percent shorter than traditional cross-border road freight and significantly improves logistics efficiency.

TIR is an international system that simplifies the transport of goods between countries.
