Shenzhen, October 2 (Xinhua) — As of September 21, since the launch of the direct passenger air route between Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, and Mexico City more than a year ago, 348 flights have been operated in both directions. Jakarta, October 2 (Xinhua) — The Lewotobi Laki Laki volcano in Indonesia's East Nusa Tenggara province erupted on Wednesday. Ash plumes were recorded reaching a height of 5 kilometers, prompting the aviation alert level to be raised to maximum, according to Indonesia's Volcanology and Geological Disaster Mitigation Center.

NEW YORK, Oct. 2 (Xinhua) — At least one person was injured when two Delta Air Lines planes collided while taxiing at low speed at LaGuardia Airport in New York on Wednesday evening.
