Kabul, October 26 (Xinhua) — At least four passengers were killed and 16 others injured in a collision between a truck and a Hilux in Ghazni Province in eastern Afghanistan, local television channel TOLOnews reported on Sunday, citing provincial authorities.

The accident occurred on the outskirts of the Karabakh region on the highway connecting the capital, Kabul, with the southern province of Kandahar. Officials said four passengers died instantly, and 16 others were injured.

NEW YORK, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) — U.S. President Donald Trump said Saturday he plans to raise tariffs on imported goods from Canada by another 10 percent due to anti-tariff television advertising.

BEIJING, Oct. 26 (Xinhua) — China's total installed power capacity increased 17.5 percent year-on-year to 3.72 billion kWh as of the end of September 2025, according to data released Sunday by the National Energy Administration.

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 26 (Xinhua) — The 47th ASEAN Summit and related summits under the theme of "Inclusiveness and Resilience" kicked off in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Sunday.

Minsk, October 26 (Xinhua) — A nationwide cleanup day was held across Belarus last Saturday. During the event, Belarusians, both as part of work collectives and independently, cleaned up monuments and memorial complexes from the Great Patriotic War, as well as public facilities, and landscaped their neighborhoods.
