The 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) is taking place from November 5th to 10th in Shanghai. The exhibition once again brings together exhibitors from around the world. Swiss elevator manufacturer Schindler Group entered the Chinese market in 1980 and has continued to expand and deepen its presence in the country for 45 years. "CIIE is a truly significant platform. He believes that China is actively promoting international cooperation, focusing on technology and innovation, which opens up opportunities for Italian companies operating in high-tech manufacturing, design, agricultural processing, and medicine.
Colombia, one of the guest countries at this year's Expo, will present over 20 companies in its national pavilion for a collective display. The exhibition will cover sectors such as coffee, cocoa, beef, processed agricultural products, and tourism. Ingrid Chavez, Executive Director of the Colombia-China Chamber of Commerce, stated that the Import Expo is not only a platform for stimulating trade but also an important opportunity to strengthen mutual trust and cooperation. "As a guest of honor, Colombia has a historic opportunity to showcase its national image and product advantages to China and the world," she emphasized.
According to Dario Regalado, President of the Ecuadorian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, the CIIE constantly generates new business practices. Ecuadorian companies attend the exhibition not only to showcase their products but also to explore new concepts and technologies, identify investment and collaboration opportunities, and further contribute to the transformation and modernization of Ecuador's national industry.
Kupakwashe Midzi, a representative of the Zimbabwe Trade Promotion Council, noted that, as "old friends" of the CIIE, more than a dozen Zimbabwean enterprises from agriculture, mining, and other sectors will participate in this year's exhibition.
