URUMQI, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) — Young representatives from 10 SCO countries praised the dynamic development and technological achievements of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (XUAR, northwest China) at the 2025 SCO Youth Camp.

Tbilisi, November 13 (Xinhua) — Following a three-day search and rescue operation conducted jointly by relevant agencies of Georgia and Turkey, the bodies of all 20 people on board were recovered at the crash site of a Turkish military aircraft in Georgia's Sighnaghi Municipality. The Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on Thursday.

NEW YORK, November 13 (Xinhua) — The U.S. Mint on Wednesday stopped producing pennies after 232 years in circulation.

During a ceremony at the Philadelphia Mint, U.S. Treasurer Brandon Beach struck the final one-cent coins, officially ending their production.

Rising production costs and changing consumer habits have made penny production unprofitable. The cost of producing a penny has risen from 1.42 cents to 3.69 cents over the past 10 years, according to the U.S. Mint.

WASHINGTON, November 13 (Xinhua) — The U.S. House of Representatives on Wednesday passed a Senate-approved government funding bill, ending a congressional impasse that has led to the longest government shutdown in U.S. history.

The House of Representatives voted 222-209 to approve the agreement, two days after the Senate voted 60-40 to approve the spending package. The bill now goes to President Donald Trump, who is expected to sign it soon.
