Baku, November 4 (Xinhua) — Georgia is seeking to further strengthen trade and economic ties with China by participating in the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE), which will be held from November 5 to 10 this year in Shanghai. GUANGZHOU, Nov. 4 (Xinhua) — XPENG AEROHT, the "flying car" unit of Chinese electric vehicle maker XPENG, on Monday began trial production at the world's first smart factory for mass production of electric vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft, marking a landmark achievement in the commercialization of next-generation transportation.

The 120,000 square meter plant, located in the Huangpu District of Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong Province in southern China, has already produced the first detachable electric aircraft of the Land Aircraft Carrier modular vehicle.

The plant's design production capacity is 10,000 removable aircraft modules per year, with an initial capacity of 5,000 units. This is the largest production capacity of any similar plant globally. Once fully operational, the plant will be able to assemble one aircraft every 30 minutes.
