SHANGHAI, Nov. 9 (Xinhua) — At the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE), Kazakhstan, known for its agro-industrial complex, is displaying a wide range of products, including sausages, chocolate, ice cream, fruit juice and dairy products, attracting numerous visitors, as well as buyers and industry professionals.

Sixty-five companies from Kazakhstan are participating in the current exhibition, which is taking place from November 5 to 10 in the eastern Chinese city of Shanghai, the CIIE Bureau reported.

Karat TOO Marketing Manager Asiya Otelbay said, "This year we're just entering the Chinese market and participating in this exhibition for the first time." BEIJING, November 9 (Xinhua) — China's producer price index (PPI) decline continued to slow in October 2025.

The PPI, a measure of wholesale producer price changes, fell 2.1 percent year-on-year in October, down from 2.3 percent in September, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) reported on Sunday. This slowing trend has been observed for three consecutive months.

National Statistical Service statistician Dong Lijuan explained this by regulating the production potential of key industries, intensifying efforts to form a modernized industrial system, and unlocking consumer potential.

In monthly terms, the PPI rose by 0.1 percent in October, marking the first increase since the beginning of 2025.
