Moscow, November 27 /Xinhua/ — The Soyuz-2.1a rocket carrying the Soyuz MS-28 spacecraft launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, Roscosmos reported on its Telegram channel.

WASHINGTON, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) — U.S. President Donald Trump said Wednesday he has ordered South Africa not to be invited to the Group of Twenty (G20) summit in Miami, Florida next year and has ordered a halt to financial aid to the country.

“On my instructions, South Africa will not be invited to the 2026 G20 Summit in the great city of Miami, Florida,” Trump wrote on the Truth Social social network.

He added that the US would “immediately cease all payments and subsidies” to South Africa.

Abuja, November 27 (Xinhua) — Nigerian President Bola Tinubu declared a nationwide security emergency on Wednesday in response to rising terrorist attacks and kidnappings.

In his statement, B. Tinubu noted that the police and army will recruit more personnel in response to the evolving security situation in the region.

LHASA, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) — Southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region (XAR) has uncovered 3,346 new cultural relics during the second round of the fourth national cultural relics census, bringing the total number of cultural relics in the region to 7,623, the XAR's cultural heritage protection administration said Thursday.

The census, which began in April 2024, covered all county-level administrative units in Xizang. Key discoveries include rock carvings in Sakya County, at an altitude of 5,303.8 meters above sea level, recognized as the highest-altitude cultural relic discovered in China.

The newly registered relics include ancient tombs, architectural structures, cave temples, stone carvings, and historical monuments. Special surveys were also conducted in 21 border counties, resulting in the discovery of 254 objects related to territorial and border protection.
